how can you prevent a divorce

I think that to stay happily married a couple must be able to talk clearly and remain patient with one another. The spark has to be kept alive with enjoyable days out and little presents. I think that the lady should be able to have one evening out say going to an evening class. The man should be able to have one evening out say going to a quiz night. Then the couple will have something interesting to chat about. The couple should spend one day a week doing something enjoyable together. I think that couple should bond together like soul mates in love forever. That would glue a marriage together.

hi rochie, i think divorce can be prevented if we just learn to give value to our marriage as well as to our spouse. we should put in our mind the sacredness of marriage and its something that we should keep for life. that's why its important to be emotionally, physically, mentally, spiritually ready before we enter marriage. only if we put God in the center of our marriage and we have that holy fear, then i guess it will be prevented. and don't forget to always ask for God's help & guidance in our relationship and of course the purpose of getting married should be the right thing. but i don't judge people who wants divorce or have been into divorce coz i know that they have their reasons in doing so. and everything that i have written here is just my opinion and as to my faith i don't really agree on divorce.

In the past divorce was the last ever solution now it has become the very first mean to get rid of the partner, I prefer they go to counseling instead of seeking divorce which mean the end of the relationship they share, they have to communicate a lot in a couple to avoid such drastic event.

The best way to prevent divorce is to never give up. I think divorce would only be the last option. Anyone can make a marriage work, just put in patience and hard work. The best thing one can do is work things out first and have the emo stuff later.

Unhappy marriages may be the result of inconsistency among couples in interacting and communcating with each other either emotionally or physically. in order for the marriage to work out, it would be better if they talk things out and be open to one another's views and opinions. This will help them resolve whatever problems they have. Treating each other as bestfriends rather than just partners will make the realtionship work even better.

I think we have on the culture & surroundings. We have to talk about relationship and be mature to solve it. We can't separate a man & wife if God unite them.

Well for me the best way to prevent a divorce is to try understand each other have faith in the person you love. If they have problems they should talk about it and if ever possible, no shouting to each other so they can hear and understand.
