here is another rediculous question.imagine that you are sitting alone at the home.and it is raining heavily outside.and there rings the door bell.a person asks you to allow him to shelter in your house until it stops raining.and you allow him to come in.then the phone rings up and the voice from the phone says that the person sitting next to you is a theif.(and its true, assumed).then what would be your reaction?? have a safe day and happy mylotting.

Wow, a very assuming discussion. In the first place everybody should be very careful whom they entertain or permit entry to their house. If he/she seems to be a suspicious person, then you might just offer him/her an umbrella (don't let him step inside your door) In case he/she was good enough to pretend to be nice and let him entered, the moment you've received the call, do something, call the police, or knock that person out (haha). I also wonder. how did that person on the phone who called you managed to know that the person you have helped is a thief? Maybe it's an inside job. :)

If I find a stranger outside the door I wouldn't invite him in, I am a woman and think it is too dangerous to a invite a stranger into the house if I am home alone. I would try to help him in other ways for instanse by offering him my umbrella or suggesting a place where he could find shelter from the rain. But if I had actually invited him in I would get nervous if I heard that he was a thief, and I would be afraid that he would try to hurt me if I didn't give him my money or if I didn't have the kind of things that we was looking for. I would call the police or ask a friend to do it for me.

It's not that hard to imagine such thing would happen. I would rob him before he robs me. When he has learned his lesson and promised not to repeat it, then and only then would I return his things.

That's ridiculous to let a strange in.Assuming that do happen,I will pretend as if I don't know anything. When the rain stop,I'll let him go in order to keep my family safe. But immediately after that I will call the police.

Well I probably wouldnt let a stranger in to my house in the first place. However, I guess it depends on how the person you invite in it. If he seems a bit weird and likely to kill me or something then I would probably excuse myself from the room, trying to act as normal as possible and then quietly phone the police. However, if he is just a thief he might not actually harm you, he might even be quite nice like a modern day Robin Hood, in which case I guess theres no need to be so worried!

My first instinct would be not to let a stranger inside my home. I don't know, I really don't trust strangers at first glance. I may give him an umbrella though if the rain is really heavy outside, but not let him in my house especially that I'm all alone. But to answer your question, I may call up someone, like a friend, and tell him that a thief is in my house and let my friend call the police for me. Or I'd probably lock myself in my room and scream to my neighbors that there's a thief in my house.

assuming i was stupid enough to just allow a complete stranger into my house when im alone with two children? well id probably run upstairs and call the police then lock me and my girls in the bedroom, like i say thats assuming id actually be stupid enough to allow them in in the first place!

First all of all I never allowed any stranger inside my home when I am alone, second if I found something like that I try to offer him some snacks or drinks or anything with knowledge of him that I know that he is thief ,I will give him some medicine through which he lost his consious and then I will tie him up and called the neighbors and call the police....Good no

Assuming I was stupid enough to let a complete stranger come in to shelter the rain, I must keep enough distance from him. If he tried to get close to me, I would run away and call the police as soon as possible. I'll never let a stranger sit too close to me when alone. The distance must be out of his first attack's range.
