I haven't been to 2010 Shanghai Expo and I don't have a plan to visit it. I have learned some news from TV and internet. I think it's already good to see what it is from TV. As to go there in person, I don't want to do so. As it's just so crowded there. I don't want to wait for hours to just visit one exhibition in this Shanghai Expo. And the cost is so expensive. I am from Guangzhou. The Asian Games will be held in my city in November but I am not excited to it at all. Because the project makes us quite inconvenient. Now everywhere is decorating and painting etc. I don't like it at all.
I love China

The same to you!The croweds are not only seen in the Expo, almost everywhere in the urban area of Shanghai is so crowed with people from various of countries, and that is too heavy and toilful for the city to keep its traffic good! I think it will decrease my interest and fun to visit the Expo to great extents, so I will choose a better chance to go there.Wish there will be less people there!

hi smallsaozhou,I am in kunshan now and very near from shanghai, but I have not go to the shanghai Expo until now.My husband's colleague has went last month and he said that the paviliions are wonderful but food there was so expensive, they paid more than 200 yuan for a simple lunch but not full.I want to go some days this month or last month.

Thank you for answering my question and sharing me with your Expo experience. This is my first discussion topic. I was very afraid nobody would answer me and you totally gave me confidence^_^ I know you me bring food yourself and then you can save queuing time on meal and money. But if you want to enjoy your lunch,it is another cup of tea.

It's said that you can not bring any food to the expo,is that right? If you bring some drinks you must take a drag before entering.Don't afraid that there is no respond on your discussion.Mylot has so many interests and so many discussions every day,so it's normal some discussions will have no answer.Just work hard and try again, anyway,I am a new comer too.

I also live in Shanghai but have never been to Expo zone yet. Some friends of mine have been there and told me that there were too many people inside the area. I'm afraid that I will lose the interest of visiting a pavilion if I have to queue several hours outside there. Maybe I will visit Expo in September or October for there may be fewer visitors at that time.

As a Shanghainese,I have been to there last month.
Frankly speaking,it is too crowded inside area,I have to spend several hours to queue to visit some pavilions.
Belgium and European pavilions give me deep impression.
Their culture and enviroment is attract me.
Finally,I recommend that you'd best visit Puxi's pavilions at day,and visit Pudong pavilions at night.
And Asia area is too jam-packed in morning, you can choose euro or Africa area at first.
Have a good time.
