I am for Wayne Rooney, too. I think the lad will bag 'em enough for that title: top scorer. He is brilliant and quite hard working.

I agree with you that I think David Villa could be one of the top contender for the Golden Boot. The other could be his partner in crime, Torres. I would also think that Rooney and Lukas Podolsky would be in the hunt. I will go for Villa to be the top scorer with 6 goals.
Cheers!

Given the present form, the dutch are looking to be the most balanced of all the sides and it is not that surprising if they come to be the final winners. Van Persie who is going to be their sole man upfront and given the ability of dutch midfielders to create opportunities, he can end up the world cup with 8-10 goals and also the golden boot.

I will have to say Rooney, I think that if England plays at they should (with Rooney on top, alone) Wayne is going to be able to score most of England's goals during the Worldcup, and as I think they're gonna get into the final, I think that in seven matches Wayne is going to score maybe 6,7 or 8 goals.
Maybe Villa can be his biggest rival, because in Brazil not only Luiz Fabiano scores, there are like 4 or 5 players that score frecuently in the scratch du oro.
Cheers!
