Hoping for information about universities

Im going for further study in western country.But I cannot decide which university to choose.Can some one kind of provide some information or advise?Universities in North America,European or Australia will be suitable.Im not a top student,so top ones such as Harvard,MIT and Cambridge will not be within my consideration.In addition,Im a student major in geotechnical engineering. Ur ideas will be of gr8 use for me.Thanks in advance.

It is important that having an education in an famous university for everyone when we are in our golden age .How to choose an right university is so difficult .I think some advices from your teacthers or your friends will be great useful to you. Good luck~~
