I am fluent in English, Spanish, and French.
but I would love to learn more languages.
a school could never teach you a language.
If you want to become fluent in french go to Canada, Haiti, France... etc for about 6-12 months depending on your learning capability.
you get a lot more from an environment that only speaks that language.

English is my first language. I can speak moderate Japanese, a little French, Mandarin, and German, almost no Spanish, and I'm trying to learn Korean and Finnish. I'll also be taking Latin for the first time in the fall. I'm excited to finally learn it! The class was initially offered by my college last year but was canceled due to low enrollment. Most of the languages I've learned/am learning have been taught to me in school. However, Korean and Finnish I've taken on myself since there are no places around here that teach them. I have some Finnish ancestry and would love to visit the country, so I really want to learn the language. It's probably the most difficult language for me since it's different than the Asian, Latin, and Germanic languages I'm used to.

My native language is English, but I speak German fluently as I have been living in Germany for 15 years.
I also speak some French and Italian, and would like to be able to speak Russian. I'm hopeless at learning grammar and vocabulary though; I learn better if I hear the language being spoken and can pick it up colloquially.

My main language is English though I can speak pretty good Spanish from when I learnt it at school and then continued to teach myself after. Already I have started teaching my two year old a few spanish words! I learnt a little bit of German and French at school though not really enough to speak it or understand it well at all. I would love to learn Japanese though I never find the time to learn it these days

My main language is English. I've been speaking English since I was little. My second is Tagalog. My parents speak Ilocano and I can speak it enough to relay information. I can speak basic French and Spanish. I learned French for a year in high school and I took two trimesters of Spanish in college.

I can speak English and Urdu, so I can speak 2 languages. Never studied Urdu, did study English, since it is drilled into our minds in Canada, USA and many other parts of the world. Urdu was more of a natural thing I learnt from people around me, mostly family of course.

Hi, fangshubin1986. Welcome to myLot! I can only speak English. I am very fluent in this language. I have been speaking it all of my life. I do know of a little bit of French but not a whole lot of it though. I have studied English from how I was taught it as I was growing up.

Aside from my native languages (Filipino and Cebuano)I can also speak English, since we use English in school since I was in the kindergarten. I also know a little Korean, because I am currently an English tutor to a Korean; and a little bit of Japanese since I have a Japanese blood and my relatives are in Japan.
