I use Linux most of the time. Though I also have my winxp installed on my virtual machine, I am not so familiar with various kinds of popular windows gadget programs. Thank you for the valuable infomation you provided. I‘m planning to buid a website and develop some free softwares as clients to propagate my website. I will choose the projects which will surely win a certain amount of users and the project scale should not be too large for me to afford. IN addition, high priority will go to the innovative ideas that there are not similar implentations already. Especially to those supported by large commerce companies, I'm afraid it's not wise to compete with them directly. I have had a idea to develop a Language Education software. Most of this kind of language speakers are in South China, a big part of oversea Chinese can aslo speak this kind of language. The most important factor is that though many people are learning this language there doesn't exist good enough software to help the learning. There is similar totally FREE desktop widgets management software already. But it is in Chinese. I'm puzzling why the author doesn't provide the English language support. I am still finding promising project that fit me appropriately. My plan will be launched in two weeks. Thank you for your suggestions. I surely will learn a lot from those softwares you mentioned.

Of course,but these softwares are expensive. Fences, Bumptop, REAL 3D Desktop, Winstep Xtreme.Fences is best and too easy to use. Kindly let me know when you ready to launch it.You know i am also small developer. i know easy programming language Visual Basic. Best of luck for your software.

well its getting cluttered so i need to empty my browsers bookmark that is why i need a separate program to serve as backup of those bookmarks to be transferred. i feel pity to the browser for having so many bookmarks.

I use IE on winxp and FIrefox on Linux. I checked the two browers. IE stores all the bookmarks as Internet Quick Links on C:\Documents and Setting\User Name\Favorites. The disk drive depends on which drive you install your windows OS on. It seems like FireFox on linux(mostly also on windows)stores all the bookmarks in another way. I haven't make a further study of this stuff. Anyway you provide a great idea with me. Good programs have something to do with web browser still have big market. Thank you for your response.
