Does there exist pure friendship between a man and a woman?

hmm... I guess that your girlfriend is somehow wrong about that. pure friendship between a man and a woman is of course existing. NO offense with this, don't tell me your girlfriend never had a close guy friend or you might be her best friend who turned out to be her boyfriend? I had a close guy friend who really seem to be my best friend. He was my schoolmate when were in elementary and we still keep in touch with each other by texting. We somehow treat each other specially like good brothers and sisters, no more no less. were good friends and there's no way we can have a deeper feeling with each other nothing but pure friendship. :)

Yes I think there are more long term that those between two women or two men. Usually women have problem with men. Who give advice better ? ...a man. There is the condition that the two will not pursue ...other things in friendship.

the friendship usually tends to love in time for most people but there are a few individuals who never change people who have been friends.i dont have any examples but yes ,usually the friendship turns to love.its human nature!
