My country isn't an "English" country like, Britain, Australia or USA, but we do speak English and we do have English classes. Probably similar to what you have. A lot of people here in my country are having a hard time in English too.
To tell you honestly, your English is good. Your grammar is basically correct. What you lack is choosing more appropriate words, and you don't learn them in school. You lean it by practice and exposure. Reading and watching English books, movies and shows will help you a great deal. Speak in English most of the time.
Some of my friends think I am good in English. I really don't know for sure. I find a lot better than me, but what I did was to read a lot. I also practiced it. Sometimes before I sleep, I talk to myself in English. That way, I can practice speaking in English. When you get the hang of this, you won't have any trouble thinking in English. Thinking in English is the key to speaking and writing English fluently
