Ah, Disney, the happiest place on earth, filled with joy and wonder and cherished childhood memories. But, looking at some at the Disney Villains, there were some really evil and diabolical villains. I think two of them stand out with me with the baddest of the bad. The first is Cruella Deville. I mean, as the song goes, if she doesn't scare you, no evil thing well. Plus she wanted to skin a bunch of innocent puppies and make a fur coat out of them. How diabolical is that? The other villain is Frollo, from the Hunchback of Notre Dame. I mean, just listen to his villain song "Hellfire" and you'll get why he's memorable. My jaw dropped when I saw that this song was in a Disney movie. So who do you think is the most evil Disney Villain? Looking forward to reading your responses.

The first that popped into my head when I read this discussion was the same thing as yous! Cruella Deville from 101 Dalmations! I loved that movie but that lady scared me! She was so cruel. Hence her name, I suppose. I was like 'Run, puppies, run!"

You cannot spell Cruella Deville without the words "cruel" and "evil" after all. Plus that scene towards the end where she was chasing the truck with the puppies in the back in her car, just the look on her face. Good night, that was truly scary, you can look at her and say "yep, this lady's a bit insane and terrifying." I'm sure it traumatized many children. Thank you for your response, it is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I completely agree. When I think of 101 Dalmatians the first thing I see is her driving like a crazy woman in that car with wild eyes and hair flying every where. Also, her intentions where quite scary as well. When my six year old son watched the movie for the first time he was four and I'm sad to say I had to explain to him her plan to use them as a fashion statement :(

For sure. That comes to mind right away without a shadow of a doubt. That image will be among the top five that stick in my head through a lot of Disney movies. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I think the Queen in Snow White is the epitome of of evil step mothers! She is sick and twisted and a total nut case.

Hi Opinionated Lady: I think that the Queen in Snow White is a good evil but not enough for me to name her the best evil character because, even if she want to kill her step daughter she didn't do everything by herself. She was also obsessed for being the most beautiful woman, that's sick so yours is a good answer too. Thanks for your answer. Have a nice day.

Hi megamat: I think it's Cruella Deville without even thinking about the subject simply because you'll never forget Cruella. She was really evil and wanted to do EVERYTHING for her coat. I think that the fact that she hate animals and that she didn't care for what she has to do to skin the puppies... that makes a good villain. Thanks for starting this discussion. XD! Have a nice day.

Cruella was quite nasty. There is a good reason why she comes to mind a lot of the time. I doubt you could get away with a villain like that in this day and age. Thank you for your response, it is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I believe it would be donald duck
he may not be evil for some
but...
think about this... everyday that he is exposed to kids he exposes himself
for chrissakes the duck doesn't have pants
and he doesn't cover up except when he comes out of the toilet...
so let's rethink our classification of evil
hehehe

That's an interesting choice. Then again, there are a lot of cartoon animals who do not have pants. A lot of debauchery when you think about it. So, yeah, interesting. Thank you for your response, it is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

For me, Scar of "The Lion King", is the primary antagonist. Because of his jealousy of Simba's position who was the son of his older brother Mufasa, who was in the position to be the next king of the Pride Lands, so he plotted the plan of killing his brother in front of the innocent child Simba. Crushed by the stampede caused by his servants who were the hyenas.
i guess that the most devilish act among all villains in Disney movies...
Killing one's own family just for a position... t

A very good point. Scar was quite the piece of work all things considered. Of course, he met one of the messiest ends of a Disney villain. Pretty much eaten by his own henchmen who he blamed for his deeds to try to save his skin, well that's at least what the film was implying. Disturbingly fitting in many ways. Thank you for your response, it is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I have seen and enjoyed many Disney films throughout the years. Villains come in all types and sizes. It can be so hard to pick just one as a favforite. When it comes down to it, here isd my number one choice. It would have to be the queen in Snow White. She was wicked to the core. She put the mean into mean.

Its been a while since I've seen that movie, but the Queen was wicked from what I remember. She pops up in discussions about villains fairly often as well. So a good choice. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

What a great question! :D
I agree with you about Cruella Deville; I am completely against wearing fur. She's just so carelessly indulgent!
I also think Ursula is pretty evil. She was willing to trick the Little Mermaid into giving her, her voice and take her prince. But then again that greedy/man-jealous idea is the same for Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty), the evil step mother and Snow White's queen.
As for favorite villain, mine is Captain Hook. I used to laugh so hard while I watched him in Peter Pan as a kid.

Yes, so many great(and evil) villains. If there is one thing that I could say that Disney has done right, would be make their villains so hate-able, that you want the heroes to triumph. So some good choices there. Thank you for your response, it is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

That is a good point. Jafar could exist in the real world. In fact, there might be a few politicians out there that are rather similar to him. Manipulative beyond all belief but charismatic enough to dupe people. Thank you for your response, it is much appreciated and it contributed to the discussion well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I would be torn between Ursula from The Little Mermaid. Shes so mean tricking Ariel in to loosing her voice and then going on shore to steal her man!
Gaston from Beauty and The Beast. He's a weird one but definitely evil and shows why we shouldnt like men who are full of themselves!
In fairness after listing those two (which were first in my head) I'm like oo what about her... and maybe him... lol but will stick with those two!
I think part of the magic of Disney films are their villans and we all hate them and cheer on the hero of the film.

A couple of good choices there. I do agree that Disney movies would not be as good without their villains. I mean, a hero cannot be heroic without a good villain to overcome. Thank you for your response, it is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.
