I just read a nice report! :) If you have more moles, you are actually biologically younger (whatever that means), and
if you have large butts, chances of you becoming diabetic are considerably lower!
Now, that I thought was very interesting since I qualify both ways.
Dare to bare - at your own risk.

Does it matter where the moles are?
What about if they are on the big butt?
What is 'a lot of moles' anyway? I mean a lot might be more or less and does it mean the number of moles or the amount of body surface that is crawling with them?
Judging by the results of your report I have many more years to live!

Watch out about saying that you have a lot of moles, especially if they are on your butt, since Sunny will want to play "connect the dots" on you as well.

Hi, vandana you have done a great, useful and interesting research indeed. Moles matter is somewhat believable to me but butts matter no chance at all. I think people with big butts are prone to get diabetes.
This discussion is very important for youth like you and me, hehehehe.

Vandi, how many pet names you have here on Mylot? I came to know about this vannie today. You seem to be pretty close to tons of Mylot hearts.
If you have the influence of Venus then you may have more moles on your body. It may make you look younger than your real age.(this is astrological part)
Regarding your 2nd research, I would rather have diabetes than carrying a biiig butts..
Wish you a very happy diabetes free life

I think, this may not be necessarily true in all the cases! Rather this may be a statistical opinion of some investigator! Because what I find is more moles are developed in case of aged persons and large butt people are comparatively more inactive than the slim ones and this inactiveness more likely causes diabatics!
Thanks for this nice topic and have good health with activeness always!!

Suddenly remembering part of the song lyrics, "I like big butts and I cannot lie".. LOL!!
I don't know about that theory; but you might be right. So, I have to be cautious about my sugar intake from now on, and I don't have lots of moles either.. !!

hi vandy and wizzywig as a long time diabetic have been to a ton of lectures type one diabetic usually are too thin and the complete lack of insulin makes them skinny, usually the younger people, but type two are us big butts who make insulin but the fat cells do a number on the insulin tryhing to carry sugar into muscle cells so the sugar instead floats in our blood stream. type one make no insulin, type two does make insulin.
thin people that become diabetics have had something happen to their pancreas so it no longer makes insulin at all.

Oh! I am sorry to learn that!
I am not diabetic as yet. But I am slightly overweight. I am trying to bring down my weight. :)
But it is not necessary that thin people wont have diabetes. I know of one who had! And she was a whole lot slimmer than me!

Well, I have more freckles than I do moles, but I think that a few of my freckles are actually tiny moles. Do they count? Also, I do have a big butt, although not grotesquely large, so that is a good thing, too. Does that mean that I can go have another ginormous piece of cake and ice cream now?

Hi Vandana
Is this only for females??
I am 60+ and quite fit for my age(touch wood!!)could even compete for stamina in walking, swimming or any outdoor sport( not involving running as I have a problem - due to an earlier accident- in my right leg) with anyone younger by 10 - 15 years!!!
And yes I have a couple of moles too - on the back, leg and even on the cheek - used to call it a beauty spot in younger days!! - and being very big built for an Indian and maybe even having bigger butt no problems of diabetics or any other problems.
So where does that leave me??? In your view I mean!!??
I don't think it really is true except may be the longevity - but then that is also a hereditary trait, so?

Hi Udayrao, the article didnt specify females, so I guess it is valid for all sexes. :)
I too met with accident, my left leg was the victim. :)
I cant really compete in outdoor sports. :) But I dont look all that unhealthy. :) Touch wood. :)
Thats it - you have big butts.
And moles as well!!! Double whammy!!!
You are out of danger, dont worry!
All researchers would now be out to prove this to be true, because it is so difficult to find a medicine that melts away that fat at odd places. :)

i've been taking good care of myself ever since i found out that i come from a long line of diabetics..so i'm careful when it comes to sugar & sweet stuff. in fact, i should stay away from some of the ladies here at myLot...because they're soo sweeeet...!
maybe a couple of months get knocked off your age for every mole that is on the body...and freckles don't count. it's a mole wannabe
butts..well, what do you think?
i've dared to bare...what about you Van?

I am scared of diabetes and I am scared of Alzheimers. Some form of diabetes is avoidable, and I will do everything within my power to avoid it. Scary stuff! Sorry to learn that your papa has diabetes Sunny. My father also has it. My father doesnt take high blood pressure medication, and keeps on creating wars, which eventually become mine! Some inheritance.

It is really hard when you get into this dangerous disorder called diabetics...my dad has been suffering for 16 years now(he picked it up coz of various shifts he worked in his middle age)

it becomes a bit tricky when it's not just diabetes, but when there's additional ailments like high blood pressure and other stuff.. it's scary when i see how many pills he's got to take now days..

That's kinda funny! I have quite a few moles - should probably remove a few of them... And I do have a big butt because I've gained 50 pounds. I think I'd have less chance of becoming diabetic if I lost the weight, and the butt...

Well, the study says just the opposite! It says if you have big butts, chances of you becoming diabetic are remote! It does make a sense though. We become so conscious of that bulk that we stop eating too much. May be that is why the study found it to be so. :)

actually the diabetes nurse educators all s ay that obesity cause type 2 diabetes so they are wrong about the big butts being free from diabetes. I am fine though and happy as a lark since the sun came out. we are now into June gloom where each morning the sky is overcast andits about 70 outside. nice to be out in too. but now i have the sun coming in my window and i am happy again. l ol lol.

Oh I haven't heard a positive thing like that. I have read that if you have moles more in number compared to average count, chances of you getting cancer are more...i do not know what cancer...it was long time back in a women's magazine. And I dread that I would get cancer someday!!!

Oh Malpoa - how are you doing? :) Long time no see. Hope you will come to mylot regularly. It is such fun!
And that was as much of a study as this one is. So dont worry!
We still have a long way to go. By the time we reach there, new methods of treating would be discovered. Cheer up. :)
