Writing Novels

I think that you have to be very focused to write a novel and persevere. When you read a book it always seems as if it would be so easy to write one but it's not nearly as easy as you might think. Good luck with any future attempts

I have started a few projects that I lost the spark for, or decided wasn't all that good after all... but the last time it happened was a very long time ago. Novels are very difficult to write and are not recommended for the novice writer unless the novice writer has an idea that is so essential to that person's being or so important that the person feels he will not function unless the story is told. Then that is when the writer should write a novel. Many people will like a passage or two from the unpublished manuscript, but it is really the writer's responsibility to persevere. That is the key with novel writing. Perseverance and dedication to write a certain number of words each day thus becomes very important.

well I have a tendency to write something and suddenly stop. that sucks when that happen especially when you have writers block or somthing. Sometimes something else got in the way of your writing like school , job or family crisis and you never get back to it. This is what happened to me from persoanl experience.
