r men actually better bosses or women????..........

Hi, I think I will prefer female boss, as I can explain them more easily and some times it takes wrong meaning also in family .If have to come late and left in office with boss then people can think oh she is doing something wrong with him....so why to take pain I prefer female Boss..If i get the option...What do you say?

I think this all depends on the type of job and the person you boss is. Over the years, men have dominated this highly acclained position in the job market. I think women are equal to the task.

for me both would work.but as you said there are limitations for women to be boss.but if woman boss is open minded then there wont be any problem.its true that men have higher working abilities(but now-a-days this difference is decreasing).its also true that women have much resistance power as compared to men.for me both would work and the reason to it is that if i am not the boss then obviously i am the worker and worker has to just complete job assigned to him happy mylotting.

I'm going to say that depends on the persons. As a female I'll say I like male boss because of the cool, calm way they handle things. But men tend to be gentler with women than other men so I'm not sure I'd say the same thing if I were a guy.

Men for me is much better boss than women. If you notice, the owner of big companies worldwide are men. Aside from that, the top billionaires around the world are men and they are the owner of their businesses. In general men is more powerful in leadership and management than women.

Our mind accustomed to male chauvinism for ages is making differences with male or female boss.As far as I am concerned,gender need not be a quality of a boss.Anybody who can take right and quick decisions to improve his organization and also improve his sub-ordinates welfare can be considered a good boss.

I prefer to have a male superior than a woman who has the tendency to be subjective and emotional in her leadership. Women too have the tendency to be vindictive, jealous, and vain. A male boss though does not deal with trivial issues and would rather focus on the thing at hand.

Vishal, nowadays, there's relatively equal opportunity for both men and women in the business world today. Main reason for your notion that most organization and workers prefer having a male officer or boss, is that , we've never been fully released our society and working behavior from the traditions of patriarchal (rulers whom mostly are men). If we would try to trace our historical roots, it's always a tradition to install men as leaders of a group or organization. We might also consider some slight limitations of women in terms of manual labor, but in terms of intellectual activities, we have almost the same opportunities. We can also note that some attitudes would look into men as the "haven" of burdens and responsibility as a head of the family.

I have to agree with notlistening2 also. I am also a female and with my experiences, I've had the worst with female bosses. Oh my, I can't stand them. I'm not saying male bosses are perfect for me, it's just that the percentage of me feeling more comfortable are male bosses. I think it's just human nature that males are more subconciously more attracted to a female employee than a male. I think they need someone to complement then rather than bud heads ( I assume first impression of a male would be competition). I might be wrong but this is my theory. ;p
