Here is a question I want to ask for long time ago. I noticed that gas price is different from place to place. But in term of competition, some gas station has a higher price than the other. Why? Is that gas station with higher price provide higher quality on gasoline?

It depends on who and where thy buy it from. Also it depends on how much they wanna make. See when they buy it they round it off to how much it costs per gallon and they they add a little bit of money to it to give them the amount to where they will actually hve made a pretty good profit. That is also what they do with other thing like candy drink etcetera just take the drinks in the machines and the one in the little cooler things in the store. The ones in the machine cost 1$ and the others cost $1.49. I also forgt to mention that it is also onsists of ho big a quantity they have.

But, would they maintain the competition with other gas stations? Because money saving is the great part of us in concern right now. So, if their prices tend to be high, would they get customers, or some customers might switch to other gas station if convenience allowed. For me, I would pick the lower price gas station near me if the quality of the gasoline remain the same.
