Do you learn Chinese? If yes, why do you choose to learn it?

As many people say Chinese is a hard language, but I believe more and more people start to learn it for various purposes. If you studied Chinese before, then why did you learn Chinese. Where did you learn it, in school or training center?

I studied Chinese before. I don't think it's too difficult, but I have also taken years of Japanese, so I guess I'm more interested in Asian languages. I can see how Chinese might be difficult to learn for someone who has no experience with foreign languages. It takes a lot of dedication and memorization. I thought it was fun to learn Mandarin. I took it as a college class. It isn't offered anymore though, so I don't know of anywhere else close by where I can go to learn more.
