I would recommend instead of sleeping pills try either Tylenol PM or Aleve PM. Something along these lines. This works better and you shouldn't get addicted to this. Take it about an hour before bedtime and it should allow you to sleep. I also wouldn't take any type of sleeping aids everynight. I have tried both of these products and they seem to work for me. Since I'm very eerie about medicine when they say take two pills I only take one. Though I believe most of these pills say take only one. Good luck and I hope this info helps you.

Someone had put arsenic in the tylenol at that time with a needle I believe. It had nothing to do with the tylenol company and the ingredients.

Hello jessica and welcome to myLot. I hope you enjoy spending time here with us. Yes some sleeping aids are additive. My I suggest that you try some natural remedies before doing the sleeping pill. Essential oil of lavender id supposed to make you relaxed and may help with sleeping. Put a few drops on a cloth and lay it near your pillow for the night. There also is a herbal tea called sleepy time and it may help. I find that reading a very boring book will help put me to sleep. I don't have any trouble getting to sleep. My problem is getting back to sleep after having to get up and got to the bathroom around 4 in the morning. Sometime counting backwards from 300 by 3s will help. If it's going to help I'm back to sleep before getting to 250. Hope these ideas will help.

I'm sorry that I didn't get back to you yesterday. My internet was down. The lavender well help to reduce stress which is probably why you are having trouble sleeping. Celestial seasoning has a tea with Chamomile, spearmint, west indian lemongrass, natural french vanilla flavor, tilia flowers, blackberry leaves, hawthorn, orange blossoms and rosebuds. We can get it at the grocery store in the tea section. If they don't carry it you can get it for about $3.00 on line at
