is christina aguilera imitating lady gaga?

I have seen christina aguilera went from one style to another.I've seen her rise to fame - from that sweet teenage pop sensation to the dirrty party girl to that 50's look.I believe that she has been reinventing herself, fashion-wise,since her career began.I could conclude that even before lady gaga came,christina aguilera is already reinventing her style.I've seen her probably done all fashion style - belly-baring midriffs,nose ring,"dirty" hair style,50's cotton candy blond hair,etc.

Christina Aguilera doesn't copy anyone. She is a very independent woman. She does whatever she wants. I hate lady gaga's style, but I think that Christina is cool. She is very beautiful and doesn't seem to really care what other people think. Gaga on the other hand is a total attention ho if you ask me.

I'm not sure that it is Christina that is imitating Lady Gaga or if it is the other way around. I know that over the years since Christina Aguilera has been in the spotlight she has had very many different looks, but it seems to me that she had a similar look to what Lady Gaga has right now before I even knew who Lady Gaga was. Either way, this particular look seems to be working for both of the singers so there really isn't a reason for either of them to change it.
