ive been told never to use LIMEWIRE IS THIS TRUE?

i have been using this... but of course there is always a risk of infecting your computer with virus.. just have to be careful you might be able to download virus..

I am currently using Limewire and yes I do blame it for some unwanted virus coming. But I am still using it because I don't know how to use other downloaders. It is so far the most user-friendly for me. When a song has many p2p users, that is usually my clue that it is a reliable download.

Whether or not Limewire is a site you would want to use really depends on the person accessing it. One person's treasure can be another person's trash as the saying goes. You'll never know which it is for you unless you try it for yourself. Limewire's not a bad site, I've actually been using it for a good 5 years now, but just because I've had good experiences doesn't mean that the next person will to. If you do decide to give Limewire a got-at-it, just BE SURE to keep your security preferences high. As with any other fileshare application, if you don't and are careless to the possible threats downloading can bring, you're putting your computer at severe risk of picking up unwanted anythings.

i had to change my computer after bad experiences with limewire and a couple of other music sites.. there are too many trojans, worms and God-know's-what else that is being tagged on to the files that you're streaming or downloading. so no more limewire for me..

yeah i recommend you not to use it.. i used it and i was astonished to see every song coming in seconds with various links but after a few days my windows got corrupted because of viruses..

you can use it but i dont recommend it because certain things will give you viruses even though it may look like a perfectly normal song. also it doesnt have very good videos. lastly i have heard that it is illegal to use and i have also heard that downloading the songs are illegal but thats just me.
