Time spent on the net

I've seen many people asking this question in a discussion. I spend 8 hrs on the computer at my job and then when I get home I spend another 5 hrs on the computer doing homework and checking emails and being on facebook. So about 13 hrs a day i'm on the computer. The only time I'm not on the computer is weekends. That's where I enjoy my time with family and friends and not worry about having to do something on the internet..

I do not really think I spend more time then I should. Rather, I think that the day has less time than it should. If there were more than twenty four hours in the day, I think I might be spending a bit less time on the Internet than I do now. So no, its the day that's the problem, I'm not spending too much time on the Internet, rather the day does not give me enough time. Down to business, that is hard to say. I am a user that is on and off the Internet a lot during the day. It is unfair to count the time that I am doing other things but the Internet is on in the background. So I would have to say a good solid eight hours a day, when we estimate all of the time that I'm on the Internet. Of course, maybe a tenth of that is actually for pleasure, as I'm either working or doing things for school. Still, you're right about the Internet having a strong pull. I'll give you that one without any hesitation whatsoever.

I spend time in front of my computer almost throughout the day ...lol... till midnight....

i spend 8-14 hours in office day. usually i used internet in my office work and when i come to my home i just check my personal mail, blog, orkut, facebook, mylot......... i used internet a home maximum 1.5 hours. in weekend if not emergancy i don't used internet.

I am not spending much time anymore, the way I am supposed and used to do. I am quite busy now, as I have to take on some personal matters. But when I have, I do get to spend the time worth. Especially here on Mylot, this is one of the places I visit here on the net and try to divert my attention on other lighter matters.

Hi Elfbwillow, I log in to computer first thing in the morning for a bit whilst drinking my first tea of the day and will flit on and off before I go to work, after work for a while and then again in the evening once my son has gone to bed. If I have company I don't bother but as it is justmyself and son at home once he asleep I tend to beonline most of the evening. I will pause to put a load of washingon etc or to do essential house stuff and sometimes I will switchoff completely and read a book, depends on what mood I am in really. I guess many would say I spend too much time but to me as I go out rarely it is my social life too. Huggles. Ellie:D

Hi elfbwillow: I spend eight hours in front of a computer a day more or less, but that's because of my work and I enjoy part of this time here in mylot. I think that in these days, to be infront of a computer basically using the internet is a necessity wether you want to work, meet people, or having fun. Even with that I do some other things that make me happy too such as reading books, going out with some friends and learning new things. Thanks for asking us this question. Have a nice day. ALVARO.

Yes .... I also once in a day I spent approximately 16 hours on the internet, either just to browse and search for additional income online. At the time of my online is not usually gather with family to watch TV, read books, learn computer and occasionally I like to play sports. Sometimes on Sundays I go to places with special people
