Why do you like Facebook?

I love Facebook for many reasons: 1.) It is extremely easy to find friends by simply searching up a generally unspecified term in the convenientally placed Search bar. 2.) There are many fun and unique apps on Facebook 3.) It is easy to update my status, edit my profile, and upload pictures on Facebook compared to Myspace. 4.) You can meet many new people through groups. 5.) I don't have to make invitations for my party, I just invite my friends to my events. 6.) The Videos you upload are in decent quality. 7.) Messaging and Chatting is extremely fast and has virtually no lag. 8.) I don't feel like going on.

I am not the biggest Facebook user in the world. Yes I am on it and yes I go on it every now and then but really, there's just not a lot that draws me in constantly. I do think that there are a lot of people who practically live on Facebook, so that might not be a good thing. Its not even that I dislike Facebook, its just its there, I'm on it but I don't think about it more than a passing thought or two a day. I think the biggest and only reason that I am on Facebook is so that I can catch up with old friends. Friends that I have lost touch with over the years and can reconnect with them over Facebook. I think this is, without a doubt, the absolutely only reason why I am signed up for this website. Still I am kind of on the fence. I can see why people like it, even though its not something that I feel will make or break my own life.

It actually took me ages to sign up to facebook with many friends pestering me to join though once I finally made it on there I loved it. I loved reconnecting with old friends as well as newer friends and inviting people to events became so much easier. Im not so much there for the games except darts and poker though have occasionally played other games there when bored. I also love the fact that it is easier to share photos with friends and family who dont live near me - a lot quicker and easier than email!

Hi pholder momof: In my case I love facebook because of my friend list which includes friends of my highschool that I didn't see from years. I like facebook because it gives me a way to connect with family and friends. Plus when I went to new york with my vocal ensemble I met some new people and I've been able to stay connected with him ever since through fb. Though Im not too fond of the games like cafe world anymore after I really how annoying it was to constantly check on it.

I like facebook for the same reason as you do! I get to connect to my friends and family who are either away in college or live in a different state. I used to be obsessed with facebook, to be quite honest. I used to be on it for hours and hours. My boyfriend told me it was a waste of time, and I realized it was. There's no need to be on facebook for hours. I sign in to write on someone's wall and then I sign out. I don't play games on it anymore. I've actually become quite addicted to MyLot instead. LOL
