What do you think about Mississippi?

I live in Northeast MS. Mississippi is always getting bad press. We are the fattest state, we are the last in education, and the latest was a school that wouldn't let a lesiban go to the prom dressed in a tux. The prom ordeal has been on national news, the Ellen show, and was in the paper almost everyday for several months. With all this bad press I just wondered what people think about Mississippi and Mississippians.
