It sounds like you are doing really well. 17 pounds is a lot to lose. Never seen the programme on tv but glad that it has helped you.

That's good news! I have been trying hard to lose weight for the last few months and I have been looking for a plan/guide that I can use in the real world (I have no means to go to a health ranch). I am also a fan of the biggest loser, I even watched reruns of the Australia version. So far I have only lost about ten pounds for my on-and-off dieting. I have no problem so far with workouts since I have time to exercise. I have a problem with dieting. Please share your blog here when its up and running. Thanks!

Good for you! And great that you will be starting a blog on the subject. Lots of people need it. I don't have a lot of weight to lose (20 pounds maybe) and I do get on the treadmill for an hour (3+ miles) a couple of times a week. I have fibromyalgia so I am having trouble doing this lately because of the pain. I do have the Biggest Loser Family Cookbook on my wish list at Amazon but I just don't have the money right now. I entered a contest for an exercise machine that The Biggest Loser was sponsoring and started receiving emails from them. They were offering me 4 books for free. I didn't look into it further because I'm sure there had to be a catch. If they wanted me to sign up for the program, well, like I said, I don't have that much weight to lose. My problem is late night snacking. Congrats on your success. Hopefully I'll be able to buy that book someday soon.
