I have been out of town these past few days for work. I went to provinces up north (La Union, Baguio and Pangasinan) from Manila. It took us 7 hours to drive from Manila to La Union. During the trip, I felt my head aching. I thought it was just because I had less sleep. But when we drove back to Manila which lasted around 4 hours, I got dizzy again. I hate the feeling. It feels like I want to vomit. Have you ever felt dizzy when travelling? Travelling by sea/water also makes me dizzy...

I do not get dizzy when traveling. I love to travel anywhere as long as there is safety. I do not have any problems with regard to land, sea or air travel. I am almost awake at all times during our travels. I just make sure that my stomach is full and I have bottles of water to drink.

Yes, water and food is important. On our way back, I forgot to buy water. So I didn't drink for almost 5 hours. I felt like I was passing out soon. Good thing I was able to hold on. hahaha! I hate the feeling! I'll always bring water next time :)

Traveling by sea on a ferry when the ocean has high waves makes me feel dizzy. One time we arrived in the Channel Islands and I had to collect my dog from the car deck. He had traveled in his travel box for large pets. We ended up missing the ferry on to one of the smaller islands. The water taxi gave us a ride for the same price as the ferry. It was a bumpy trip and I felt dizzy. We ended up falling off the seat when a big wave hit us. Luckily we did arrive safely. On some sea trips on ferries I have been sick. On just one air trip that was turbulent I was sick. I think you suffer from travel sickness so good luck on future journeys.

What an experience :) Ferries are way better than small boats. I don't really like the feeling of riding small boats because of the strong waves. I have no problem with turbulence in airplanes. I just get dizzy when on sea and travelling hours by land :)

i used too, very much in fact that i vomit most of the time. it is so disgusting that i can't enjoy the scenic view while travelling especially if we are on vacations or visiting distant relatives, i normally sleep then, to combat the motion sickness, i also notice before that compact/closed especially air-conditioned buses and vans give me the worst motion sickness, it was later that i found out that the lack of air or the inability of my lungs to suck more air causes my motion sickness, i was so unhealthy back then, with proper diet (after i gained more weight) and after getting use to travelling much i finally managed to overcome that motion sickness thing. i am yet to try travelling by air, and on sea with a large vessel (as i already experience riding on small boats) so i don't know if that will be a problem if ever i will travel, i hope the motion sickness will bother me no more.

I have never traveled by air or sea. I only experience traveling by land. It mostly happen when I am riding an air conditioned bus. I get dizzy and I want to throw up. Even I eat something sweet, the feeling of fake coke inside the bus plus the fragrance that the bus uses makes me throw up. I even throw up once because I can’t take the feeling. I can’t sleep except when I am really tired. when I am really tired I don’t observe I get dizzy while traveling.

It must be because of the heat and fatigue. Good thing you woke up right away :))

I usually get plane-sick and that's why I hate travelling on planes. Otherwise I'm usually fine on land and sea... I've rode on boats that went through really rough waters and been on very long bus trips from one city to another. But in general, I'm actually lucky I don't get land or sea sick.

I also had an experience with rough sea travel. It was raining hard. I didn't get dizzy. I got scared that the ship might sink because of the very strong wind. They even asked us to wear life jackets. Good thing we arrived at our destination safely :)

Travel via land or air, yes I have done that without any hassle or problem, but I haven't experience traveling by sea and I don't know if I will feel dizzy. But as much as the land travel and air travel is concern, I don't have any problems with that. Thanks to my grandma who used to take me when she travels so at an early age, I was really traveling to and fro and it was an advantage because I don't feel any motion sickness. But what I just doubtful of is if ever I will be traveling by ship, because the sea has waves and traveling by that is really difficult as what I can think of because I have no experience at all. Small boats or short cross travels only, but to travel the sea which will take many hours, oohh nooo, never

I have this thing since I was kid, I was notorious for always being dizzy when travelling, regardless if it's by car, land or air. I guess it has something to do with my ears, cause I think ears control your balance, hence the dizziness during travels. I have tried a lot of things, and for me, open air is the best solution. Of course I can't do that when I'm in an airplane, so what I do is I try to just sleep, or make myself busy with music or something to forget about being dizzy. Hehehe.

Yes, I do. I am a very lousy traveller. I hate the long rides and rides that rock the boat or take me up, up there. I just hate it.

I hate the plane when got air tubulence.THe drop of altitude really shock my stomach , can fell the balls goes up to my throat. While the bumpy car ride and turn here and there will cost my stomach acid to work up some sickness.
