I am looking forward to the remake of the Karate kid starring will smith's son. this looks like it maybe better than the original. Anybody else looking forward to watching it? Comment if you look forward to seeing it or have seen it.

yes i will watch it but im not expecting a lot. Well because you know what will happen next and in the end. This is why i sometimes hate watching remakes. Its just like watching the simpsons but the cast are different but they are acting the same

If the director is real good sometimes remakes can be pretty good if they give you a different take. One good thing is that this one will be shot in a different country.
Should be good scenery at the very least. Selecting Jackie Chan was also a good choice.

me me me! The moment I saw the trailer, wow! that was cool :) like on how to wear and un-wear jacket :) And there was a part of Mr chan holding chopsticks and a bee :)) I thought he'll catch the bee using chopstick. :))

I'm looking forwards to it and from the sneak peaks that I have seen it looks like it will be good. It will certainly appeal to a new generation and could see a whole slew of martial arts movies being made. But I grew up watching the Karate Kid and for me the original will always be the best.

Yeah the kid was also pretty good in the movie The Pursuit of Happiness. He definitely has a bright future in hollywood. Having Will Smith as his dad doesn't hurt his career either.
