Is summer really the best?

for only school children summer is best.... but it was hottest days for others...............

Summer isn't my favorite season, I have a very sensitive skin and I'm not allowed to be too long in the sun.Plus, I usually work during the summer, and hot weather is more like enemy to me.I can't concentrate on my work, feel dizzy sometimes.The only thing I like about summer is variety of fresh fruits and vegetables.

Actually in parts of the United States there are years where in the early fall bring out the highest temperatures. And for me who do not like high temperatures, that would be the worse if we are simply judging by temperature. Spring will be my choice for "best" season. But if one gets hay fever, that may be their least favorite season. Now if we judge by holidays, my favorite currently is our independence, on July 4th in the summer. I bet a lot of parents' favorite season is fall when their children go back to school - where the traditional calendar is observed anyway. I heard some areas have school year round. Let's see, what else can we judge a season as the best? If you are a store owner that can be where your store brings in the most money. If there are sales in December to get rid of excess old inventory, that can be in December, late fall, early winter. Least favorite in April when taxes are due (unless you file for an extension which would make that in October, the fall.) I'll let others reply now -

When summer is here I think of holidays, beach, sand, sea, and lots of fun too, summer seems always to be the best as it is the right season to relax too, usually in summer we all go for a holiday with family so I look forward to a great one this year.

I'm really not crazy about summer. I mean, yeah it's nice to not have to worry about classes, but it gets boring. Not only that, but it gets ridiculously hot to the point where you don't even want to go outside unless you're submersed in water. I live in Florida and summers here are ALWAYS filled with massive storms and brutal heat. It sucks.

I think the best season is fall with all the colors and with the holidays. I also like bundling up and having the opportunity to wear clothes with a lot of fabric. Summer's a pain for me really, because even if you go around naked you would still be drenched in sweat and I'm a conservative, I don't believe in walking around in a bikini.

I am not really a fan of summer.I like going to the beach, but it doesn't mean I love staying out in the sun.it's too hot and I get sweaty and sticky all over.I prefer autumn.I love a weather that is not so cold and not so hot.

I prefer the summer,as the sunshine makes me feel good and happy, and I love to spend time outside, I would choose summer over any other season any day, but it does come with it's problems... it can get too hot, it makes sleeping difficult, it can get just too hot, and sometimes here, we end up on water shortage alerts, because the resoviours dry out. I just don't like being cold, and the rain makes me feel unmotivated and depressed.

Why did you think so?Most of people think that autumn or spring is the best season of the year,not summer.Summer is too hot,people even can't go out of their house.

I think itdepends to where you are.. Cause for me, it's not.. It's so hot in our countryduring summer. though it's also the months for vacation, i can still can't stand the heat. we're having swimming at a resort or at the beach but we can still do other recreational activities during rainy days..

I am living in a tropical country. And summer tends to be pretty nasty when it comes to its peak. If I have the opportunity to experience winter, I will prefer winter over summer because I can withstand the temperature.

I don't like summer much as I like winter because its really hot in summer and we can't go out and hang around. We can't wear clothes which we likes to wear. I am crazy of overcoats boats so like winter.

Summer is the favorite season for me because we get green fruits and we get plenty of water......and we can enjoy in rain and we can spend our time in riverside by swimming.I like summer because new design of short pants and shirts are coming up and it really expose our life ...... i like fancy dresses.

I don't summer is the best season for me because during summer it is very hot and we cant go out of our house.I don't to go out and it is not enjoyable.

Those of us who live in tropical or sub-tropical areas could do without summer quite happily. We've had record-breaking, brutal heat for several days here in Miami, and it's nowhere near August!

i have mixed emotions when it comes to summer. i love it because, well, it's the best time of the year to go on vacation. i don't know why it's different when you go to the beach during summer; even if it is the same beach. but also, i hate summer because it's too hot. especially here in the philippines. it makes me feel dehydrated and weak. that's probably why i like being in the beach or in a pool during summer.

Summer can be one of the best seasons of the year, most of the time. There is just a lot of sun and you can have the windows open. However, when it gets hot, it can be really uncomfortable a lot of the time. I enjoy a little warm weather but not to the point where I am sitting in a pool of my own sweat. That can be bad news. I do enjoy summer but there are times where I just enjoy Spring a bit better. Spring is a time of new hope. It can lead to some great things. That's why I enjoy Spring just a bit more over Summer. However, there are a lot of things that I enjoy about Summer. I guess we could consider the Summer months a distant number two. It is a great season, with lots of sunshine and fun. Plus a chance to recharge for many people and to really live.

I really don´t like summer at all... I prefer winter than summer
