its fried noodles, but there is an exact term to this one. Well they say it came from china but been modified for local taste. its really good but well from your profile your from lancaster. Well i know that there is a filipino specialty store near your place can't seem to remember it.

To be exact, standard pancit recipe is rice noodles (bihon) cooked in boiling water with a little of oil, sugar, soy sauce and shrimp juice until the water has fully incorporated into the noodles. This is cooked further with a variety of vegies like cabbage, carrots, chinese parley or celery, green beans, cauli flower sauted with garlic and onions. To add flavor, chicken, pork and other ingredients are cooked before hand with the vegies seasoned with soy sauce, and ground bell pepper and this is used to top the swelled rice noodles. Egg wedges are a plus. Way to cook this differs with every household. This could go with or without the Kalamansi - a Philippine native lime. A lot of Filipino parties and celebrations doesn't go without this dish or the Spaghetti. Fried noodles is what we call the Crispy Noodles and this is one variety of this pancit recipe.

hmmmmm. i love spaghetti but i love pansit more. spaghetti must be cooked well to taste good unlike pansit, even a beginner in cooking can cook a good tasting pansit.

I love pancit more than the spaghetti. My personal preference for pancit stems from the fact that as a child, I always loved the way my mom cooked pancit and I always crave it's perfect blend of tangy, salty, sweet and spicy flavors. She is a very good cook well loved by the family and even all our friends loved her cooking, and she cooked really delicious recipes as far as I can remember, but for me her pancit is simply the best.

Of course Spaghetti! I like the italian style spaghetti, with lots of flavor on it. Cheese chesse cheese!

i always have the cravings for spaghetti because you will never get bored with it..i always find pancit to be boring and odd looking..unlike spaghetti it always looks very yummy and delicious to eat..i always find myself delighted whenever i eat spaghetti..and even if there's no occasion, i'm still requesting my mom to cook it for me..

pansit all the way. of course it depends on how it is cooked. if spaghetti was done to my taste i'd settle for it. but it's quite hard for me to find pansit nowadays. you know, the type that drivers eat. usually i eat instant pancit canton .
