Today I commented on a discussion which was really hot, I commented on one members response and left it but was eager to know his response on that particular comment.
I thought I would get updated via email when there will be comment back on my comment, I kept waiting for that, I thought that member might not commented back. At my wonder when I searched and clicked on that particular discussion, I came to know that particular member has already commented back on my comment just after 30 minutes to my comment.
So I want to request myLot administrator to provide such facility where we get email if there's something new where we are concerned. I think that will help much to make any discussion Hottest.
What do you think myLotters?

oh, probably it didnt get into your inbox but into you spam mail.. it happens a lot.. that is why i also check my spam...
although, yeah, it would be better if there is something in mylot's page itself or in our profile that somebody has responded so we dont have to check our email again and again.. :)

cool idea...but i wouldn't want the emails coming into my main email box. maybe a secondary account just for myLot..

keval: sounds cool..but then you can check out the 'discussions' page. there'll be a 'discussions i started' and a discussions i replied to'... or something like that. you can get a snapshot of the activities that you were involved in but the pop-up update sounds cool for the new users

Go through the responses and see if your suggestion has already been proposed and what the result was. If no-one has suggested it then that is he place where you can add it and be certain that it will be seen by admin.

Maybe you haven't ON on your friend's list. Try to check that and you an option to set it ON or OFF. That is usually what I do, I tried to check first my email so I will who responded and who started from my friends and that's the time I will answer them back.

Hey adeena, that's not about who started discussion and who replied to it, it's not about to get email about which friend started discussion. I get email whenever somebody responds to my discussion, I get email whenever there's comment on my discussion, myLot already having this facility, I congratulate them for it, but the matter is that you don't get notified when you've commented on someone's response and when he or she comments back to it , you don't get notified whenever there's comment back. i.e. See now I received email saying that you responded to my discussion, but after reading my comment if you comment me back then I won't receive any notification from myLot.
That's the problem I am having and many others might having, I miss much with hottest discussions because there's no such facility here.
