Can you make your own laptop, and if so can you buy parts on the cheap?

making your own laptop is possible, but its not worth the money or time, if its something you want to do once for an experience, go ahead and do it. a website you can buy parts and barebone cases is www.newegg.com
if you need any adivice on how to do it please leave a comment.

You could probably make your own laptop, but the cost for each individual part would be astronomical. Plus, you would need to make sure that all of the parts will work in co-ordination with each other without any problems. Most electronic stores don't offer returns on laptop components like motherboards and RAM. You can try doing it, it'd be really hard to if you have never built a normal sized tower PC before. Good luck!

I'm pretty sure that you can because people create their own desktop computers all of the time. I'm not sure why a laptop computer would be any different. It's probably a little more difficult because of it's size, but it's doable. As for getting them cheap, I think that's definitely going to be your issue. Parts really aren't that cheap. I mean, you can probably look around online and find some parts cheaper, but overall I don't think it'll be super cheap to build one yourself.

If you know how to make one, definitely you can. But with regards to cheap parts of a laptop, it it quite expensive to but the parts individually because some of them are usually sold by sets. Only some are sold in individual packs.
Not unless you wanna be a laptop manufacturer, you can save big and earn big that way...
