Recently I joined a link exchange directory site. I was surprised when the site informed that there were too many outbond links on my blog which could decrease the page rank. The site suggest that I split the link page, but I don't know how to do it. Do you have any ideas?

I think they want you to create another page to store half of the links there. The best way to do it is to create the other page and link it to the first page so that people who view the first link page can access the second also and vice versa.

Well...thanks, hulaboy. That's what the site told me to do, but I don't know how to create the other page and link it to the first page. So, can you tell me in details how to do it?

I didn't know about this feature for static pages until now. Hmm. I may find a use for this in the near future. Anyway, in my opinion, the problem with this solution is still the same. Since the static page uses the blog template to display the page, the density of outgoing links (esp. if they are on the widgets attached to the template) hasn't decreased even with the addition of the static pages.

Bloggeroo.....the number of links on a page won't affect your site rankings. That Seo theory is simply a hoax.
