Have you ever caught a fish? If so, tell us about it. If not, would you like to? Why or why not?
I have never caught a fish before, although that is definitely something I would like to try. I just don't live too close to a lake; I'm completely surrounded by hills and trees, a different kind of adventure=)
What about you? Do you like fishing? I think it looks boring to do, just sitting there, waiting for something to catch your bait. Do you live near a lake? What's the biggest fish you've ever caught?
If you haven't ever caught a fish, would you like to? Why haven't you? Why wouldn't you?
Come on and tell us already!!!!
Have a nice day=)

I have never been a fisherman myself. Fishing was my late husband's passion. Whenever we went to a store, i always knew where to find him. He would be looking at fishing poles and reels. My teenaged daughter loves to fish as much as her father did. When she was only 4, she caught her first fish. Her picture was in a local fishing magazine for it. She was just so happy to catch a fish. I would have never even been able to bait the hook. The fish are safer without me.

When we were children, we went fishing as a family. Usually the adults fished while the children played, but sometimes we would also fish or perhaps better stated played at fishing. But once in a while we would end up catching a fish too. Mostly they were small fish that got put back into the water but now and then we would catch an edible size fish that would join the other edible size fishes in the fish net. One summer afternoon the fishing did not go so well, but for some reason my uncle and I had some luck and caught some fish and we had them for dinner that evening. Of course putting the worm on the hook was not, in my considered opinion, the highlight of the day, hrrr.
These day I don't do any fishing as I don't live near any fishing water.

Hi,my friend. Tell you that catching fish is very interesting and funny. When I was young,or rather,a child, I just liked catching fish and going fishing. Lots of my peers like doing that. It becomes a part of our daily life. As for catching fish, usually there are two ways to do that. One thing, we can use nets. we often put the net into the deep water to wait the fish coming and going. When the fish go inside,we should quickly drag the net to catch them. Or we can cast the net into the water to catch fish. Another thing , we use the fishhook to hook them with the baits on the hook. In this way can we catch fish, too. That is very easy and funny and effective. This is about my experience in catching the fish. I do hope it is useful and helpful to you. But you need much patience. ok?

I used to love fishing, I still dont mind it, just lately ive had a new found respect over animals and feel rediculously bad using live bait and killing it to catch another fish to kill it. Especially when they swallow your hook and it kills them. I feel to bad. my boyfriend says they dont feel pain but i cant do it

I've never gone fishing and don't ever want to do so. It seems distasteful to me -- I guess I don't have the "killer instinct." I actually do live fairly near a small lake, though. I'd rather just look out over the waters than fish.

Oh yeah, I've caught a fish or two before. The one that stuck to mind was when i was a 7 year old holding on to my fish pole on a sandy beach of a small atoll in Chuuk, Micronesia. I caught a bit of a big trevally bluefin. It dragged me out into the water and if my uncle didn't catch me i would be gone. I was surprised i didn't let go of the fishing rod.

I once went on a fishing trip with my friend. I found it quite boring to wait many hours for a bite from a fish on my bait. We live close to an Inlet so we cast our fishing lines from the shore. I guess the fish that I have caught was a flounder. I gave it for my friend to eat and enjoy with his family.

When I was a little girl, we have a fish pond that has tilapia one of variety of fish here in the philippines. Its so easy for me to catch it because its our fish pond and for sure the fish will just catch the worm that we used. It was the big one that I caught and I even dont know what to do. I keep on shouting and my dad run and try to unhook the fish. Its served as our lunch.

I never did but I wish I could. If given the opportunity to fish, I would love to go Canoe Camping and experience the adventure of fishing in the borders of Canada. In every park, they sell fishing lures which you can use for different kinds of fish. I know it's a bit boring for a start but I believe that once you caught one, it will be satisfying and truly amazing.

Oh, fishing only seems boring. But when you get out there with everything all quiet and all, it is really quite relaxing. Personally, I don't go fishing very often, that way when I do, it feels very rewarding. It gives you an indescribable feeling when a fish takes your lure or bait or whatever, and jerks your rod down, you just have to try it, it is great.
Biggest one I ever got has to be a 4 pound rainbow trout, and that came out of a tiny little stocked pond.

I have caught a fish before! Fishing is so much fun, especially with your friends. I like to talk to them while every ever so often have the satisfying feel of catching a fish. The very first fish I ever caught was when I was about 7 years old. We were at a friend's cottage beside a lake, and we were fishing there. I caught a catfish! The first one of the day too. I was extremely happy, though I was afraid to take the fish off the hook.
