Are stepfathers that capable of providing love than a real father?

I just had this topic discussion open up since father's day is fast approaching.
I was still 5 years old when I lost my real father, because he died due to a myocardial infarction because he's quite fat and overweight not to mention with short sleeping time and some vices. Going back to the discussion, If you were to be asked, do you think stepfathers are good enough to be a father?
If you ask me, perhaps not. because in my current situation, my mother is not that happy with my stepfather. because he is not that fair in treating me and my little brother in terms of giving love and attention.
How i wish i can turn back time and just make my father feel how much we love him before he died.

i believe i am fortunate to have found a partner who treats my two kids like his own. he gives them the guidance they need and of course he provides for them as well. a step-father is capable of loving their stepchildren more than their real father could give them.

Hi Friend Dont worry abt ur current situations ur father soul is along with u forever i saw u r from philippines and also u crossed 20 u can conncentrate on u r work take care of ur mom spend ur times with ur mom and brother. u can share ur feelings with ur frnds.if u r treated as a frnd u can share with me also.
whenever i got mood out. i compare myself with others who had lots of worries than me.our present worries r not permanent it just like a passing cloud. if i am in mood out i tell myself these sorrows also vanished after some week when i am in happy mood. i think my past situation its look like very silly thing.
So Dont worry be happy:-)

thanks for the post yathini...
Actually all i wanna do now is to focus in my work and at the same time allowing my family to enjoy their time by my presence and help.
Not every one are fortunate enough to receive a very good step dad... Perhaps they might be good in the first time, but eventually fades of as time passes by...
Sure, it's better to have someone who's willing to listen to your feelings every once in a while...
So nice of you to offer...
