Ok, I signed up on a dating site because of " " you fill in the blanks - to make some money. You know, where they give you 40 cents for signing up. Well, I has been quite entertaining. Not that I am a raving beauty for a great conversationalist or a super catch (I'm married), but looking at the pictures and what they are looking for in a mate are something else. Old hippies, 50 year old goth men. Then read their description, Oh Boy!!!! I guess to each his own. It was something to do and I was bored.

I actually did the same thing recently. On Inboxdollars I got $2 for signing up for a free account on singlesnet.com The site sucks because being a free member all I can do is make a profile. I cant contact anyone. The only way I can get in touch with people was to download the instant messanger program and then send people a request to add them to my friends list. I think I only sent two people requests and I havent even bothered to get on the instant messenger to see if those two guys are on to chat with.

I notice the same thing when I joined a dating site. It was not fun as I can only send him a smiley that I am interested but cannot do send a message back. It is too limiting. In one site one of us should be a standard member so that we can send messages and this is much cooler than having both of us pay both for the service.
