planted your house with lavender flowers and citrus trees. These plants were effective to repel mosquitoes. Clean the bathroom once a week and don't let piles of secondhand goods become mosquito breeding

If you kill mosquitoes, they return with vengeance. If you kill them with some chemicals, they develop a resistance to it. Best thing to do is do not let them breed. They breed in stagnant water. As an individual, we cannot do much but Government should not allow water to stagnate. They must spray the water surface with chemicals so that the mosquito do not multiply and create a nuisance. As a palliative measure, I apply mosquito repellent. Use Baygon or mosquito coil and sleep under the mosquito net. You do the same for your kid. He would be safe.

You got that right achilles... but the thing is, eradicating the breeding site is not that simple too... and using baygon definitely indicates that you're from the philippines...
Primary precautions must be properly observed and practiced... that's all we need to avoid further complications from these ferocious insect...

In our country the philippines we often use mosquito coils to kill mosquitos or at least to keep them away. Its the mostly used thing against these irritating insects, they bite and bite and never gets enough of you lol .Or some people use nets when they sleep so that no mosquito will be able to bite them, in the end its your choice if you want to use mosquito coils or maybe you can also try putting some anti mosquito lotions that are available in the market that will temporarily shield you from mosquito bites

Mosquito bites causes many diseases. The first thing to prevent mosquito bites is to apply mosquito repellent creams.you can also use mosquito nets.Usage of mosquito coils, liquids also helps. We can prevent mosquitos by keeping our surrounding clean and see that there is no water setteled in pots, tubs as mosquitos reproduce in water.

hi xinlingchengbao here in the US we have specially made anti mosquito lotion made just for children and its guaranteed safe too for little
ones . No child enjoys getting bite by pesky mosquitos. and the children
often scratch the bites that then get infected. so better to use the lotion.

Hello you can try mosquito repellent coils, heating pads and liquids, they contain a chemical, but this is poison, best is go for electronic mosquito repellent, this produces high frequency sound that drives the mosquitos away, it is harmless for us..
Thanks for sharing.
Welcome always.
Cheers.

We have much of these mosquitoes who are capable of transmitting Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever. Which may cause a dramatic drop of platelets in a person's body.
So we had this dengue control program implemented by our government, I'm a fresh graduate nurse. So apart of my job is to disseminate information for the public...
This discussion is good. First thing you got to do is to eradicate the possible reservoir that these certain mosquito might lay their eggs at. In your case, if your in the states, Dengue is not a problem, but malaria / yellow fever. so here the thing to do, keep your container free from stagnated water, perhaps your comfort room or even a small bottle cover is already sufficient enough to along larva survival when water is present.
Once you eradicated their reservoir, you can now proceed to primary precautions, such as wearing long sleeves before going to sleep, application of mosquito repellents.
That's the most i can share with you because i really don't know where you from or what certain species of mosquitoes you have there.
Hope this reply is of big help to you...

Close the doors and windows by 4 pm. Wipe the house with lemongrass lotion. Mosquitoes don't like the smell of lemongrass. They vanish and don't come again.
