My Internet has FInally Been Fixed :D

Hello lotters,
Ever since this Horrible "Network Restoration" thing happened, my internet had gone whacko too. we thought there was huge problem with the router. my brother and I couldn't solve it so i decided to call on the Customer Service, sucks No One answers for two to three days not until this morning.
I see two technicians i think but they left drinking pop sodas
but then this afternoon i saw a technician (the familiar one & same guy as the last time) fix it. well, am glad it wasn't the router that has the problem.
Well, am back, still making up for the past problems.
make new post too.i got so many things to say.

I didn't think you noticed, too bad this is really bad for Globe. do you have other forum paying other sites for this? there's only one i know but unfortunately, it's too slow.

Well it so happen that whenever you post in here I receive email notification that you posted something in Mylot. And for the past several days I noticed there were less post you submit in here.
Anyway, with regards to other forum I have about three more but I guess it is different from this one. They discuss more of money and everything about the internet. you can just PM me if you are interested.

Hello Letran,
That's the problem with our server (service provider)
They're up to date when it comes to billing (most advance bills)
But when it comes to fixing net problem,they're slower then the turtle in Australian shores .
I hate it when,without any warning my net get disconnected,and when i call the costumer service,i receive such answer that,i haven't paid my previous bill.
What ahhh...i did pay it,maybe the computer system is too slow to update with my payments.
So,every time i pay my internet bills,i always try to contact the provider for some info about my payment (grrrr)

hello jaiho,
that's the problem with internet providers, so good with updated bills but the service sucks. well, not the technician who helped me here, thanks to him my internet is back to normal.that's because too we decided to downgrade the subscription into lower speed but it's a lot okay now because we are upto date in paying bills as well.

Glad you've managed to resolve your home internet connections and see your back here.
However, I could not say much about your ISP's service and support where you need a stroke of luck to get things done. It must have been quite a task talking with them - let alone waiting for them to rectify the connection problems for you.
Anyway, all the best and hope that it will not be happening again soon!

it was a problem in the account and had nothing to do with my router or pc. glad they had it fix. i have a good feeling that it might happen again but am sure il be ready to get some one to fix it.

actually, life with out internet has given me a sense of freedom because i get to do other things with out thinking of using the internet. and i got to do all chores with out thinking of going back to the computer.but of course, it ain't the same with out the internet. probably it's best if i should stop using it.someday

hello jame,
it's still nice to have wireless but with other people connected to it then expect the internet to be slow. you should at least use 2mb of internet speed to phase up with the slowness. get another connection but only your connection and not tied up with every one elses.

Congratulations to you, welcome back!
It's terrible to spend a internet-broken day. I experienced this feeling a few years ago. Internet service was disabled in a whole week. I went to the customer service of the ISP. But they shuffled, I was so angry, but unfortunately other ISP is even worse, so I bore and finally the problem solved.

well, i got the chance to sleep early within the past few days and i didn't regret it. it's a good that the problem is in the account and not the router, i was able to ask for technician to fix it. 2 people like this

hi Letran knight glad you finally got your computer fixed as its
so frustrating waiting to get it fixed and not being able to have
it to work on. My son does all my computer repair so doesnt cost
me anything.He is an unemployed computer programmer too.so he
knows my machine back wards and forwards too.

yeah, but the problem is with the internet but my pc is fine. wow, you're lucky to have a son who can fix the computer for you. i have a brother who re format my pc but unfortunately, he's not always available.
