I love men with nail polish. I love the fact that men find it okay to play with gender now, as, women like me, who think gender is constructed. I think it's glorious that they are allowed to do that.

I think it would be uneasy for men to start wearing nail polish and make-up. Well, I think that is the case a few years back but in the recent years, men have been known to be metrosexuals and would ever have thing to pamper themselves including manicures and pedicures, and even face powders.
But, I definitely wouldn't want my partner to start wearing nail polish, regardless if it's transparent or not. It would just make me laugh at him the whole day. Just like how I don't like to put nail polish on my fingernails. It's okay for the toes, but the fingernails?? Who gets to do household things with them on anyways? I mean, put them on and start doing laundry? I doubt it would last.
I just think that people who wear make-up and nail polish at home are either too lazy or just plainly vain. Who could work with all those things on anyways? Well, I definitely have seen someone vacuuming the rooms and sweeping the floors with high-heeled shoes on. Her reason? She's been wearing those things far too long that when she does wear flats, her feet would feel sore.

yeah,i don't like seeing men or guys with nail polish.
it just don't feel right!
cause i may think that they are gay or i would say if it is black, they are punks or rebel ones.
well, we have our own freedom to do what we want in our own bodies.so it's just the judgments of people around us that may affect feelings.
whatever it is, i just don't like seeing men with colored nails,

I think it looks fantastic.
I would actually prefer to see strong coloured varnish than clear on a man. I think the image the two give is very different.
but painted nails or toenails looks fantastic on a man. especially in metallic shades of blue or purple, a dark maroon or black.

I don't think it's just for bands though.
when I see a man with nail varnish on, I think it shows that he is confident enough to wear what he likes, regardless of how some people might react to it. it also shows they are secure in their sexuality. they don't feel that they have to prove their manliness by conforming to stereotypes.
that confidence is attractive.
I also love a bit of eyeliner and mascara. very very sexy.
my husband is quite masculine, goes to the gym a lot. but for some nights out he'll sometimes wear a bit of varnish or make up, when it's the right sort of night out for that. like going to see bands.
I don't think it makes a man look feminine at all. instead it makes him look like enough of a man not to have to prove it.

men wearing clear/natural colored nail polish is okay with me too- since it makes their nails look clean..but colored ones, I don't think so...But a lot of people, men and women wear black nail polish- which is not really
attractive to look at...but they like it so we can do nothing about it..

I don't like colored or natural nail polish on men's hand or foot . Cleaned one is very much without nail polish is good. Just leave it up to girls.

Have you seen any one like this? May not be. Unless it is not required for some purposes (drama make-up and films), I have never seen such an attitude with men with coloured nails. Even as a fashion, no one have tried this. (I think so).
However, if you start such a discussion topic and finally someone may start thinking of why not?
So, if I happened to see someone's fingers with coloured nails, definitely, I will catch up you!!
Regards,
Thank-s

Yuck! Like you, I don't like men with nail polish. Men have manicure and pedicure is okay, they need to have their nails cleaned. But to have them colored? It's like they crave the attention, and having stuck with ideas to attract others, they color the nails.

I'm a guy, I call or visit my own manicurist whenever I feel the need to have my nails cleaned. she only uses natural color, she told that she will put them to protect my nails and make them look clean. Those who puts colored nail polish are either EMO's, maybe they just put it for a fashion statement or something like that.:p

i have seen a man wearing a clear nail polish and its not at all annoying for me. it made him look more clean and tidy. but ofcourse i would prefer my man without it haha. but if he does want one then fine with me but please only the colorless haha for if what he use is the one with color, well i would surely begin to think of something else lol.

I dont think men should wear it at all. They look so silly. On that note though I did my first french manicure at the weekend on my nail and it looks beautiful :)

When i saw your post i just cant help it but to comment on it . I never see myself polish my nail at all im not saying that men who do that are not real men at all. I just think that its not my style at all,i have my own way of taking care of my nails but without polishing them lol .Anyways each and every one of us have their own way of pampering themselves maybe some guys like it that way but personally for me i wont even try to consider the idea lol .
