After the movie Titanic,biggest hit in the hollywood history directed by James cameroon again came with another blockbuster movie AVATAR with a budget of 250million dollars to strike the viewers heart.It is reported that the film has gained a collection of 930million dollars among different countries in the world.It is also nominated for several categories such as best movie,best direction and best technical section.But the all expectations are dashed by a movie Heartlocker based on war in Iraq,the film Heartlocker was directed by his ex-wife Kathryn Bigelow.The movie Avatar tells the story about the war between human beings and livings in Pandora.The movie is very rich in graphics as well as technology.The main technology used in this film is motion capturing.The movie released in 3D and also in 2D.

I thought Avatar was a great movie! I especially like how it is critical of our society, in how we are unattached to Nature, of how we should be living with it, instead of against it. Actually, from what I have seen on Boxofficemojo Avatar earned nearly 3 billion dollars in theaters worldwide, which is just shocking to say the least. I don't know why "The Hurtlocker" beat it though, I thought that movie sucked, it was disappointing to me.

Avatar is a good commercial movie. But is it good as the movies of classical directors like Bergman or Akira Kurosawa

agree. i think James Cameron did a good job with Avatar. it was such a big production and all the hard work paid off. the 2 hour movie is interesting from the first second til the credits. it's pretty flattering that a director can make such a beautiful film that the viewers will so much appreciate. James Cameron is sucha good director. at times, he's even better than Spielberg.

I had gone to the theater with my boyfriend to watch this movie and it was in the very first week itself when it was released, it was very well done and I appreciated the Director the most to make such a fabulous movie.

ya man avatar is really a fasinating film . its graphics light setting and the design of each animals with 6 legs all were good . The thing is that the director james cameroon had noticed every small things and he tryed to make in a good perfection , that is why the film became block buster .closely observing the animals in that world called pandoram we can notice that some are haveing some common things . He also managed to make an other language for the peoples in that world called pandoram
