I used to drink up to 14 cups of coffee a day but now have got it down to 3 per day. Instead of coffee I have changed to making fresh fruit drinks. A lot healthier and really tasty

To LeighB I used to drink 4 or 5 a day but I am down to 2 or 3. I want to go further but I am not sure how. Thanks for the idea. Any suggestions of healthy drinks.

I am lucky, living in Thailand there is so much fresh tropical fruit. so I am able to make a lot of various fruit drinks that are not only tasty but also healthy.

That will be good if you can. I drink a lot of coffee too every day. I am a coffee addict. I have now changed to decaffinated coffee. That's much better for health compared to the regular strong coffee. You may want to change to decaffinated coffee too !

you can drink green tea instead..whenever you have the hunger for coffee, make yourself a tea..also you have to gradually stop your coffee intake..you can't give it up just like that because your body system will crave for it more..

I was a coffee addict before and it was hard to give it up at first. I stop drinking coffee because of ulcer. Anyway I switch to tea. I drink tea with milk once a day. Try to cut down on your coffee and if you like tea switch to tea.

You can shift moderately to a coffee brand with milder caffeine content. Then when your body has adjusted enough to caffeine-withdrawal, you can opt to drink decaf coffee just to suit your taste which is used to drinking coffee. I know some brands and beans with low caffeine concentration of as low as 0.06%.
