Hey there fellow Filipino MyLotters
What do you think is the best newspaper in our country? It could be a tabloid or a broadsheet. Your choice.
For me I think the best is The Inquirer. I really don't have a reason but I've been reading it since I was a child. The only criticism I have for them is their website. I think Philippine Star's website is better than them. They should really improve it.

Not a fan of tabloids and the newspapers generally don't cover the stories well enough. I do read on the foreigners murdered sometimes do you notice the same type of article is written over and over again? Love triangle, murdered by staff or wife? I have researched some of the cases before although some are cut and dry some are a lot more politically or criminally involved but nobody ever researches it.

My favorite newspaper in the Philippines is Inquirer, I read news from them everyday. I like this broadsheet because it is fair and balance with their reports, it is also accurate in delivering news and information. I rarely visited Philippine star website so I cannot comment with what is the best website between them. Philippine star sometimes is bias.

We subscribe to Inquirer and Star in the house. When it comes to news, I think the Inquirer is biased. Gone are the days when news was delivered in a straightforward manner. Nowadays, you can easily detect their leanings even in headlines. I am also partial to Inquirer's entertainment and gossip reports, even their business gossips. They have good sources. When it comes to other kinds of articles, I like Star better. They have better technology features. I sometimes use them as part of my research when I write online.

We also prefer Philippine daily inquirer at home. If Inquirer is not available, Philippine Star is the next choice. Third choice is Manila Bulletin. I like Inquirer more especially the editorial column entitled "Young blood" and its lifestyle section. We don't usually patronize tabloids but the broadsheets are not available then we settle for People's Tonight.
