I'd have to say the strangest thing I've ever eaten is Caviar. It's for the fancy people-not me-because let me tell you, it was DISGUSTING. And at the time I was a bit naive and I had no idea what it was fish ovaries and intestines. GROSS. It didn't look so tasty from the start either- I just thought I'd taste it because everyone else was eating it too, and they made it seem as if it were delicious. If you haven't tasted it before- THEN DON"T!!!!!!!! It's totally gross, and I almost hurled in front of everyone in the restaurant. But, at lest I can say that I experienced 'fine dining'- if that's what you wanna call it=/ UGH.

For me, it was chrysalises of silkworm. It is really a kind of food in my hometown, but I feel they are disgusting. My father even have eaten the moth of silkworm. Oh, my god!!!

I like caviar.I have also eaten escargot,or snails.Very slimy and chewy, but delicious with melted butter! I have also eaten gator tail, and octopus. I didn't care for an ostrich burger I ate at the beach. Way too strong, and spicy!

For me it was Nutto or Natto Sushi. I almost puked when i ate that thing. My Japanese friend dared me to do it. They really like that stuff. It was something fermented that was in it. Yuck! It was disgusting. I went home and drink water the whole time.

I have tried Wasabi. It's pretty crazy. I must have spent 1 hour trying to suck in as much iced water as possible. It was a... humbling experience.

Caviar is actually fish eggs, and I have to agree with you. It is disgusting. I personally don't like "gormet" cooking. I don't understand it. Why do people pay outrageous prices to eat things like fish eggs and mushed-up goose liver? I guess that's why I'm poor...lol. I don't have what it takes to be rich.

I have never tried caviar but I also heard its actually weird. I wonder why there are even a lot of people who likes eating them. The strangest thing I have tasted before was when I ate frogs. Its very unusual to eat frogs but I kinda liked the taste of it. I can even eat frogs as viand. I think this is the strangest so far but I also want to try other exotic food.
