Softwares, license of pirated?

I have noticed that many computer users are using pirated operating systems and softwares in their homes and offices, despite government efforts and campaigns against it. In internet alone, there are many available cracked softwares of any sorts downloadable for free. So, these are the major problems, software companies are facing today. What could you say about this fact?

Yes, it's true that large number of users use pirated softwares, even me, I am also using pirated softwares. I know that it isn't ethic way, but what to do can't afford prices.
You would be able to see this scenario everywhere in the world, many cyber cafes, private computer classes, even some private companies are using pirated softwares.
It seems that Hackers are more intelligent then big companies engineers. Isn't it?
