I had a former office mate who once asked me why I took a marine biology course. He was so curious why of all fields I chose being a researcher in the marine field instead either of teaching, of being in the accounting world, engineering, or of helping the population of nurses or doctors grow...I once dreamed to be one in any of those fields he mentioned but I learned to appreciate the field I was put into by my parents and I had long came into realization that may be I have a big part to play on it. While others are busy working in school, in banks, or in hospitals, there's a lot like me somewhere else who loves to study any "marinated" concepts and applications...Without our oceanographers or marine biologist to be specific, there can be no knowledge about fish, tsunami, how the moon causes tides, among others. I just love being with nature and I think getting a marine biology course could suffice such hunger. :)
