That means that the employer has not sorted the applications that it has received. Sometimes, the employer will not update the status of the applications and you are left in the dark. Most employers do sort the applications and you will find out if you are being considered or not. But even if your application is under consideration, it is not a guarantee that you will be interviewed.

I am a member of jobstreet for over 2 years already.. Got my first job from this site.. It was a great experience.. I am currently looking for a new job now, and I'm still using it. But just noticed its not that very helpful for me anymore.. Looking for a site that will at the moment.

It has been more than a decade ago since I became a member of Jobstreet but until now I still get the status of "new" . I still receive the Lina updates too.

Hello rodmarqc, That is a very very very old website and very old online application site where these people will refer your application online and text you for the real application process. they're most likely head hunters for they're clients to refer you to they're company. since you're new, you can apply to alot of companies that are in job street.
