hi juicekodai, just like you i am also dreaming to visit Vigan, i just saw my friend's pictures when they visited the place and it makes me feel like...oh i want to go there too! the place is just so nice and mesmerizing! i like seeing old structures and of course nice environment and something that can bring me back to the past. hehe another place that i want to visit is Palawan, i just like to experience the underground river. i have been to Bohol but i was not able to go to Panglao beach and so i want to go back there. Bohol is one good place to go. i also want to visit Boracay. haha i never been there even if i have friends living there...just that i don't have time to do so. and of course i would love to visit Pagsanjan falls in laguna, i am from laguna but i was not able to visit the place, hopefully i can do it this year and explore more of my mother land. right now im living in Cebu and still there's a lot of nice places here and islands that i was not able to see and i want to visit them all. there'sa lot of nice places in our country to visit and this is one thing i like to do, explore and vist these places. i like it more than going abroad.

I have visited various parts of the country. The Philippines is a natural paradise. The scenes may actually be the same from one coast to another. There are coconut and pineapple plantations, mango orchards, rice and corn fields, beaches, caves, mountains, carabaos and nipa huts. Yet, somehow, each province or region, has something distinctly its own. Example, different provinces might be celebrating the same feast - the May 15 San Isidro Labrador patron saint of farmers. But when you go to Cavite, they would dance the Caracol on the street. But if you go to Quezon, they would show you a magnificent display of kiping. In Bulacan, they make the beasts of burden kneel. Somehow, the ultra hospitable locals has a way of identifying themselves that is peculiarly their own. Take the time to go around. It is nice to see places when you are young.

Be resourceful. Join conventions. When I visited Laoag and Vigan, I joined a group of Catechists who were convening in the North. I simply asked my school coordinator if I could go. She said yes. I was alone, knowing no one in the group. But I did get to hop from one church to another... Sarrat ruins... Paoay... on my own.

• Philippines
9 Jun 10
oh, i havent really heard of that... do you remember the name of the volcano?.. we have a lot of volcanoes here but i dont remember one causing ice age...
• Philippines
9 Jun 10
If I am not mistaken..I think that's the taal volcano..the smallest in the world..well it became small because according to some theories it erupted so much that it decreased in size..but it's beautiful you should see it..it is in the midst of a lake and maybe you'll understand it's past..

I've been planning to visit the island of palawan. I loved nature and adventure, I guess palawan has lots to offer not only the beautiful scenery but also the extreme adventures that they have there. I've been saving so that I could bring my son with me when we visits there. I hope its not that much, but I will really really really wanna go there by hook or by crook.

I also love Vigan and Batanes. I saw Batanes in one documentary. It is said that the weather in Batanes is really cold. The mountains are so peaceful to watch an the place is very big. It is like a virgin Island to me. Before , I choose to go to Boracay, but as I observe the place is now polluted. There are so many visitors. I want a very quite place and BAtanes is just perfect. I watched Balikbayan and one episode of it was the visited Vigan. Vigan is indeed a very historical place. The houses built from Spanish Era, even the kalesa, you are like back to the past. For me these place are what makes me proud to be a Filipino.

with the kind of job i had before, i came to visit the places in the Visayas and Mindanao, when my hometown is Bulacan. and until the time i migrated here in Cebu, I never gone to places in the north of Luzon, like Baguio, or Ilocos, yes, Vigan. i would love to see and feel the cold mornings of Baguio, and see Vigan personally, which we only see in movies and TVs.

I'm a Filipina also and yes I would love to visit some of the historical and scenic places of our country. I would love to go to Chocolate Hills, Boracay, Camiguin and Palawan's underground cave if only I have the resources. I've been to 100 islands, Tamboli beach in Mactan island, Baguio, Iloilo, Bacolod and Lanao. I'm from Cebu and I wish I could visit my father's farm.

Since I am from Davao, (that is in the bootom part of the map), I want to visit the Batanes Island, (that's in the top of the map)as you can see, right? I am always curious about their living. They have struggle to overcome how many typhoons passed every season of the year. I am curious about how they in their solid house, that is really designed not to be destroyed by a typhoon. Most of all, I want to visit all places in general. That would be my dream. But, I'm scared to travel going there. I can't imagine riding in a small boat reaching that place. I need some inspiration to be able to do that.

Many of them wanted to come back in the Philippines. I have been in Hongkong every summer ( Philippines season) yet i do not have time to move around here. I wish the government would place a souvenir store for every places we have here. I just have the chance to see Tagaytay, Laguna, Quezon and Cavite. I want to visit a lot of places here in the Philippines cos this is such a beautiful country. I have visited other countries and explored other countries, but I haven't explored my own. What a shame. Anyway, I would like to visit CamSur someday and finally learn to ride the waves. I heard that CamSur is really a place for both pro and non-pro surfers. Oh, Lago de Oro is a nice place too for wake boarding. Me and my friends also planned to go to Anawangin in Zambales but we never pushed through because of the differences in our schedule, but we really would want to go there! I have seen many pictures and heard good things about that beautiful and heavenly place. Another place that I want to visit is Vigan and Pagudpud in Ilocos. Man, those places are just simply enchanting. My friend visited Pagudpud once and he told me that it is so beautiful and it has white sand beaches. There are still many places that I would love to visit. Maybe in due time. :)

wow.. well, at least you have visited other countries, not everybody had the chance and one of them is me.. lol yeah, camsur you could go wake boarding there... our company has a site in camsur and we are hoping we could visit the place... the problem is time... hate it when the plan is all set but there is no time...
