Hello pinoy lotters, First, I've heard Boy Abunda was offered Department of Tourism then refused. then Ogie Alacasid, the singer and actor was also offered Cabinet position, then Dingdong dantes. and now Gracie Poe! Oh, Noy! what is going on! I know for now it's just some stupid rumors but i think the one offered to Boy Abunda was for real, am I dreaming here! or it seems that kris is the one choosing the Cabinet members for Noynoy. i know Noy makes a decision for his own, but choosing co-celebrities doesn't make sense at all. too bad for Abias Cbn trying to divert themselves away from being Aquino Broadcasting Station Cojuangco Broadway Network you can't fool me ABS, i will remember what you did during the election period! and won't watch your SHOWS and NEWS Ever. It's too insane if Noy is considering the celebrities to be part of the cabinet..

Calm down knight! Have you submitted your resume at Times Street? The new prez needs a lot of good, sound advice.

Every Filipino cares, knight. Didn't you say you needed a job awhile back? I am sure your ideas are a lot better than Dingdong Dantes. So get that biodata done, write an application letter for a position in the youth sector, and bring it to Times Street. They will accept it. Who knows, you might still be able to exert all your energy for the betterment of our adolescents. Come on. We need people with zest.

I think the basis of getting his cabinet are the ones who have experience in the field. not just people who can criticize him since day ONE after the Debates. if he can't do that, then let him choose his celebrity cabinet. otherwise,i he chooses me, i might punch him in the face for making the wrong decision or crazy assumptions like brgy. chairman annointing him as President Elect.

who cares! am sure they will depend on surveys or endorsement from popular people like backers or something. oh, yeah, the president needs good sound advice, then he should look for the best people, most specially those who can criticize him and not praise him all the time.

Now that is purely, disappointing for an upcoming president who has yet to be proclaimed to be doing such things, like offering Government positions to people in showbiz, just because his sister is one. It seems that the Philippines is now 100% showbizgovernment.

hello jacobus, more like "Showbiz Filipinaz" i don't know about the other celebrities but this is really disappointing. the only person i can count on to change the country is BINAY. as for noynoy he seemed to be unpredictable, i don't trust him one bit.

Well, the question is why did Noynoy Win. The vote should have went to Gibo or better yet Gordon who have done alot more compared to noynoy who can not even make up his own mind.

because the MEdia intervened, that's why. and people are so lazy that they prefer Noy for not villar to win, or simply because of his (noynoy's) parents. people wants fairy tales and legendary heroes, like the media bias network portrays, look Abias even have a Noy Movie long story but the only person i can count on to change the country is Binay

that what irritates most of us in our place. Boy Abunda in the Department of Tourism, what can he do in the department? maybe it is unfair judge him and we have no right to do it to him, but isn't it obvious that it is a pay back time that is why some of the celebrity endorsers offered a slot in government?. And to ABS maybe in silent part they are all happy about what is happening, as if they gained power. Well maybe they gained power, but the lost supporters and viewers. There are so many talks right now about that station, and so many mad people hate that station now. Even Kris, she was acting like a first lady giving shoes and school supplies to children in Tarlac, I wish she give jobs to the parent of the child or give the child free education to have something for them in the future.

Hello Grecy, the issue for Abias CBn is gratitude from the Aquino's giving back of the network to the Lopezes. and they made it obvious for sure most specially those who surely convinced they shouldn't vote for Noynoy because of other issues but my confidence for Noynoy further gone down when this network started interfering. it's only for publicity.

hi there LetranKnight, :) i can understand your thoughts, but i think its too early too judge Noy2x Aquino, or shall I say Our coming president, might be you swallow what you have said and thankful for him.. Its too early friends, I am a pro noy2x according to my conscience and will hehehehehehehe :) Its all rumors friend, i dont think noy2x aquino will do that.. but for boy abunda, why not if given a chance, i believe boy is capable to do so. He is not entertainer, he is an entertainer.. I just find boy very smart. In fact, better to offer showbiz people than to retain corrupt cabinet members.. peace :) see you around happy mylotting

Yes, there are lot of capable people but I only said better that to offer showbiz people than to retain corrupt officials.. For better Philippines, track record is not the only consideration....:) i did not said I am in favor to have showbiz personalities as government officials.

hello dorothy, As a tax payer, i don't think i don't think i would like it. Boy doesn't have the track record being in the tourism, that's it. there's a huge difference between experienced politicians with good track record and those who have BAD/ track record or transactional record. i know some people who did make a tremendous record on tourism back in 2001-04. i was in college then intramuros so i know.

you're wrong varon, It's Bad, bad for all of US. when journalism starts taking sides in politics, that's when they loose credibility. i used to be fan of ABS for a long time but seeing them doing this made me lose their respect.i have boycotted from watching they're shows which is really sad.

Whatta performance hahaha now his claiming to change the country for the common good .Lets see, for starters he is now lookin for positions in the government to be tended by entertainers lol

Hello setsuna, Even though you voted for Gibo, it was still a wise decision because Gibo also knew the Problem well, the reason why i chose gordon instead because for me some how he lacks good initiatives but he was good too. with regards to his interview after the proclamation, i didn't see ABS doing much criticisms on his answers although i saw ces asking more questions than the rest, at least he was clear about bangits position as chief of staff. You're a wise voter. that's good enough for me.

I think this topic is not really about Noynoy but your hatred towards ABS-CBN. I also don't see any points how ABS-CBN became biased in the recent elections. What I did see was ABS-CBN actively reporting everything they've observed this last election. Their campaign "boto mo ipatrol mo" is also a success. I don't watch soap operas so I don't watch ABS-CBN and GMA shows. What I do watch is the news and I am more comfortable watching TV Patrol than whatever news they have in GMA. I even tune in to the AM radio when I drive to work just to hear TV Patrol. I also watch Teleradyo. I feel ABS-CBN news and public affairs is more credible than that of GMA. One incident that made me think GMA is not credible is when they 'stole' an exclusive coverage from ABS-CBN. I forgot what the news is about but it involves someone famous going out of a plane and boarding our airport. We had 2 TVs back then and ABS-CBN had exclusive coverage but GMA also showed exactly what was showing on ABS-CBN. It didnt even say 'courtesy of ABS-CBN'.

hello there, That was before GMA start being competitive, and before i noticed this network being biased. if you're for noy since the start, you wouldn't really notice. but i know some of the mistakes of GMA 7 in the past which i use to hate the station too.but this election, abs really took the hit, i started noticing until it became obvious.

UTANG NA LOOB? its pay back time. so even he knows that they are not fit to be on the cabinet he will still be putting them on the seat. thats what the people wants thats why he won. his administration is not yet starting and the list is filling up like a red carpet celebration. . boy abunda is one laughing idea already. can he top something that gordon did when he was the secretary of tourism? har har har. this is funnier than i thought.

Hello Seven, I thought that boy abunda was rumor at first but after reading the papers that Kris personally endorsed Noy to boy, i just couldn't believe it. i guess now after the proclamation that's the time hte president elect decided to keep it under wraps and will due tell it later once he has selected his cabinet.

Well, Noynoy owe a lot to the celebrities. They endorse Noynoy maybe because his sister is also a celebrity. Let us just see what will happen to this new administration.

hello don, for me, that is unacceptable, very unacceptable. these people are celebrities who has less or no experience at all in executive and legislative works. i don't even want to look.

I sure hope Noynoy Aquino wouldn't fill up his cabinet with celebrities (smiles!!!).. BUT what if he would? as we know, the president does have the prerogative to choose who to put in positions... but perhaps these celebrities, if ever appointed, can do something... at least, until you are being doubted upon, you have something to prove which i hope will make them work good.. like if ever boy abunda will be a cabinet member (laughs), i'm sure he'll turn his earth upside down to prove to everybody that he's worth it... don't all celebrities do that? try all for FAMAS award and all? then let's hope they'd pour out all they have to the government... :)

As what I could understand is that Noynoy will put Ogie and Ding Dong in the ADVOCACIES for youth and entertainment industry that they belong, since Ding Dong has youth foundation while Ogie has organization for singers. And the exact term that I've search is that Ding Dong will be youth ambassador. In some organizations usually celebrities are the ambassadors especially singers. For example in operation smile before that was David Pomeranz and now Charice Pempengco, their singing skills can be funded for to help people who can't afford the operation.

hello,.pinoy lotters,,,,in my own opinion about noy's administration,it's not necessarily that Filipino celebrities should be in the cabinet positions because they are in the entertainment world and not in the political one,,how would we know that they can do their job well,,,because in the life of politics you're holding people's future, and not only facing cameras that you need to smile well.

hello dimple, for me, it's track record counts and not just that in how other people recognized they're experience in that job and not because they owe it to the promoters or endorsers. unfortunately in your last statement, that's always the case, and i wouldn't be surprise if a celebrity does get into cabinet position. so sad but i wouldn't be shocked if rumors become real.
