did you tell them about your family life, relationship with husband? I tell my close friend about the things that can inspire and build better relationships. indeed we should not tell anything too personal because it will change the view of friends and even affect their beliefs against you.

yes!We need not disclose each and every things to our best friends even.Just we can discuss some materialistic things or even ask ideas or guidance from them.I strongly object to reveal personal matters of our family members. That would be degrading ourselves.

well , i used to tell my close friend my personal issues .. she only one close friend .... my other friends there are limits ..... but lately i thought that don't tell her things she missed or things she hope to be in her own ... for example ... she married from years ago & she unhappy with her husband .. she is so romantic & he isn't ... i thought if i marry one day to person i fill in love with him & we love each other & i tell her everything about my relation with him every situation everything .... may be she envy me without she fell cuz she need love & she miss it... so i think if ur close friend don't have thing & u have .. don't tell him/her about it .... even she/he love u so much & she/he loyal ... but in the end he/she is HUMAN

well,I don't share things that are too personal.but to a extent I love to share my personal things.I agree with you.sharing anything too personal can change the view of them towards us.So i think it's better to maintain a limit in sharing things.

personal problems should be discussed with people involved, then work it out, if need advice, a counselor or pastor will do :) friends will always comfort you of course but some things are best discussed within boundaries :)
