html is not hard if you are into programming ,anyways many hosting and domain company provides free site builder tool in there user account..indeed, almost every company provides such tool .there is one site which provide free ".com " domain for a year ..if you are from USA or Canada. I can't link the site here as i think it is against the mylot TOS .however you can get .com domain from price range $8 - $12.just make a search in search engine. godaddy and few others are good domain provider .always buy the domain from trusted site who are into business since ages.hit me a message if you need any help .

For Web hosting I recommend these sites: hostgator.com bluehost.com siteground.com For Domain Name Hosting: Godaddy.com Namecheap.com They have lots of website builders and CMS, so beginners can easily navigate and learn. Depending on what type of site you are planning to make, either you can use CMS like Wordpress, Joomla or Drupal. For blogging, Wordpress is very easy to learn, and for e-commerce you can use Joomla and Drupal or even Wordpress. Also you can easily install CMS from your hosting account. Just go to your account's cpanel and open Fantastico, then you will have the options to choose different kinds of Website Builders and CMS like wordpress, joomla or drupal to install with.

I guess they were referrals. Please check first if the hosting provider they refer have a very good hosting plans like how much bandwidth they can offer, how many addon domains, subdomains, databases, etc. they support, and do they have free sitebuilder. You can check these details on the Web Hosting websites.

Hi, I have a non-free website but I don't like my host provider, i'm planning to change it to some other host. you can check my profile for several webhosts there, i'll try one of them as I did research and found that they are good and the feedback are good too. most of the hosts have free builders but very limited, mine for example. I was not happy on it. so right now I use dreamweaver to build my commercial sites.

I have also suffered from free hosting providers. But now I have got a good free host provider. But I am just using it for my website developing and testing purposes. And I always trust paid host as they are more reliable and generally provide better service.

Even I am also thinking to open a website and am pretty close to opening it, infact within a week my website will be up and running. I also haven't purchased a domain name but I have firmly decided to buy it on godaddy and I will also host my site there. I was not having a debit card which is accepted online. So today I opened an another account in my local bank which provide international debit card which is also accepted online. I will be using this card to register the domain for my website. It would be nice to know each other and will be helpful if we can share some knowledge and ideas. Anyway, I am adding you and will be happy to know more about you and your site. Hoping same from you!

Hi, First up congrats and good luck with it :-) With your domain and hosting - I've used godaddy for my domain(s) and hostgator for my hosting - never had a problem with either. As for site builders - well, as others have mentioned most hosting providers like hostgator have things you can use (go in via fantastico in your hosting panel) or you can use things like NVU. (which I use a lot) NVU is a wysisyg web site builder (what you see is what you get) so you use it much like any other word processing type program - you set out the page how you want it and it does all the coding etc for you. You are also able to see what it does so it's a great way to learn html etc while you're building your site (just hit the source tab and it shows you all the coding etc) Again good luck and have fun with it.

COngratulations on having your first website! :) I currently have 2 domains powered by Wordpress, on 1 from Tumblr. If you want to have a site that you can manage easily, you can just register a domain and redirect it to your Tumblr account. :) That is much easier for a beginner. :)

Hi, I have 2 websites. I bought one from Yosro and another from Godaddy. I suggest yout to go with godaddy. It is very cheap and reliable. For the first time you can get free hosting too. There are many templates and free software to build your site. You dont need any web designing knowledge. You can just type your content. You can also use NVU editor. You can download it for free and use it.

If You want to make professional website, I suggest to buy a domain from GDI or GVO.You got great support and can make money from it too.But the cost was so high for newbie, they charge up to $10-$15 a month. But if You get referral You will get $1 each month from them for live.

I started in experiementing website making by using various free hosting website online like blogger, wordpress, xanga and few others which are quite popular. Each has it advantages and disadvatages. If your got the money to spent, yes why not get a domain as u suggest. There are various Content Management System ( CMS ) which are free which u can install inside your domain to help your build your website with readily avaiable template. Those like Joomla ,wordpress and others are free and well supported with forums and tutorials.Hence made sure your domain provider provide your with support for these mentioned above. Some domain provide are equipled with cms, like Plesk and such.So made sure u made your research before paying.
