life...

I don't know why, but suddenly it crossed my mind. As I look at the kids playing out on the street. Happy and shouting like super excited.
When we were kids, our life is very simple... I remembered how I played out on the street. The time we care less about anything and everything. The time when things were just fun and play. When our happiness was low...
We woke up to eat, play and go to school. That is how we see life and passed our days...
May be the reason why I came to reminisce is because somehow I am sad and a bit depressed about how my life is right now... Sometimes I wish to feel and look at life like a child again...
I know not all kids are lucky to experience a prosperous or a middle class life. Not all are bless but the innocent and simple happiness of a child is just the same... The desire to play and the plain desire of hearts are the same as of the other kids...
Have you ever feel or felt the same way too, somehow? Are you happy with how your life is going? Can you confidently answer the latter question with YES?

I'm doing the best that I can. That's all I can do. Not everything is the way I want but I'm happy most of the time. But I am confident that one day all my dreams will come true and be even better than I imagine.
Psalm 145:15-16 (New Living Translation)
15 The eyes of all look to you in hope;
you give them their food as they need it.
16 When you open your hand,
you satisfy the hunger and thirst of every living thing.

Hi lovelyn_medrano! As I see you walking with your baby, I know that your child feels very secure holding your hand. We can have the same feeling with God. Knowing, that no matter what happens to us in this life, that we have a better one later. In this life, at times, terrible things can happen to us or those we love. We have no guarantee of anything. But if we trust in God, put faith in His son Jesus Christ, live by His commandments, we will have a glorious, everlasting future. It's worth any sacrifice! Keep the faith my friend!

Thank you for sharing that inspirational bible verse... And thank you for the kind words.
Yes I believe that God has plans for us... These hardships have endings... He will make us prosper and will not let harm fall on us...
As of the moment, all we can do is to remain still and keep the faith in him... Pray for courage and strenght to face each days...

I can definitely understand what you are feeling. I am 19 years old and just starting to enter into the "real world." So far, it has been a complete shock. I grew up in the kind of middle class life you described, and suddenly having to worry about my expenses, jobs, college tuition, etc, is extremely stressful. Although it is extremely exiting for me and I love being more independent, I do find myself longing for those long summer days where I had nothing to do but play with the neighborhood kids.
