The yearly dramafest of our theater group ended/concluded last Thursday. It was fun and all the time spent was well worth it. Here is the synopsis of the play I directed "This is the story of three unusual friends with extremely different personalities from each other--a girl genius, a monster lesbian and a campus icon. They will embark on a journey that transcends time and space when Blue, the girl genius, invented a Time Machine. Little do they know that this adventure will be life changing for them" The original script was a mess so I did a lot of changes in it. Too many questions were unanswered so it took me sometime to fix that problem. We delivered the story in a comic way so basically we did a comedy but with great lessons to learn. We never expected to get an award because I always tell them that popularity does not matter our goal is to make people happy by the use of our gifts(talents). We bagged the best actress award, it's the only award we actually got. We weren't expecting it at all because we are up against two heavy dramas that were brilliantly written and directed.
