Halftime and I Quit!

I was seriously looking forward to game three of the NBA Finals, but after watching the first half of play, where the Celtics are shooting around 10% (without Garnett) from the field and are only 6 of 12 from the line, I've seriously lost interest!
Nothing against the C's. I'm rooting for them! But 1-8 and 0-5 and 1-6 and etc etc is just too pitiful.
If the Lakers end up winning, my hat's off and I say congratulations.
But if the Celtics cannot even make a free throw or a layup, then they do not deserve to win.
We're talking about uncontested shots here. It's not like LA has shut-down D, especially with Ron Artest on the bench.
Oh, well. I guess some games run cold like this. But it's certainly not what I expect to find in the NBA Finals.
Anybody (outside of a Lakers fan lol) actually enjoy that first half of basketball?

I did not also watch the 2nd half action of the game. I am for the Lakers but the Celtics were not on their usual game once again. The game is one-sided after that first quarter. Boston's energy has diminished. From this win, the Lakers steal homecourt advantage, gaining the upperhand. This will be the walk in the park for the Lakers.

Hi matersfish! I'm sorry! I am a Lakers fan, but I still wouldn't
count the Celtics out! Look at how they played Game 2! They are
"in it to win it"! And they are playing the best they can and
who knows what could happen in Game 4 even if the Lakers were
to win Game 3! Even being a diehard Lakers fan I am not going
to count it being and "easy win"! This Celtics team is no pushover!
If you are a true Celtics fan then how could you even be thinking
like this in Game 3? Shame on you!lol

Well, my post was more of a jest than a serious admission of my early retirement from the Finals. I watched the second half and I was impressed with the game overall. The Celtics really showed up to play ball in the 3rd and 4th quarters, but their POOOOOOOOR shooting was the final nail...
The Lakers are a heck of a team, but you can't win if you don't score. Basketball goes two ways.
I hope it's more competitive for the entire game in game 4!
Thanks for the reponse.

They did strive and push for a comeback, but their poor shooting efforts just couldn't defeat a Lakers team that was ready to win.
Thanks for the response.
