Working from home increases efficiency?

One-off my co-worker work from home fopr 3 weekdays however I work all 5 days from office. When I asked her why she prefer to work from home. She said that its easy for her to manage some work at home and also its much efficient to work from home and I can concentrate more on work. I think different - I would love to work from home but most of the time my productivity goes down because I involve me in other home activities and office work not done. So I prefer to work from office. How about you, do you fond it good to work from home?

I prefer to work from the office, because when I come back home, I don't feel like working at all, just feel like slacking and playing around with the applications found on my laptop, unlike my laptop in the office, which has nothing much installed. I prefer to leave my work to work, and bring home nothing from work. Maybe that's what we call work-life balance? The work has got to stop... at some point.

Hi bharatreddy: I understand your answer. It's always better to have a permanent job. In my case I have both works and I have enough free time to participate here in Mylot while I'm doing my permanent work. So this maybe an efficient worker nah?. Lol. XD. Thanks for your answer. Have a nice day. ALVARO

I think working at home would be a better idea. You don't get to support the noise at the office, no one disturbs you, you save time and energy if your office isn't next to your place. So my personal preference would be working at home.

Hi Ajay Singh Baghel: I'm efficient working at home but only when I'm completely alone. If it's not the case, I'm sure I'll talk with my mom, dad, brother or sister or maybe they'll invite me to do something that would be fun and I could not resist to it. In the other hand, when I'm working at home and there's nothing that interrupts me i work better so I'll be more efficient. So, it depends on the situation. Thanks for asking us this question. Have a nice day. ALVARO

Late night calls are really not managable sometime so working from home and attending calls from home would be a good option. I always attend US calls from home on my cell. otherwise just skip the call. Thank you for sharing.

Good going, travel time is something every one concern about. I spend around 1 hr every day on the way to office. Definitely if work from home we can utilize this time for other work. Thank you for sharing.

In my experience, working at home is just temporary. For me, it is better to work at home if a person is a college level like me, but some people also have a degree can work at home. No one accepts me because here in our country, some company is looking for an applicant that finish a four-year course-- so, I prefer to work at home and then, if ever I earn money, I would enroll at school and after I finish my study, I'll stop working at home and prefer to work outside because I think, I can't trust so much here in the 'cyber world' of internet. Maybe, I would work as a part time on the internet, but not full time.

I prefer work at home since I can manage my time and do both office work and house work without so much stress. I can also maximize my time as I don't need to travel to my office place. It just need time management and focus so that you will not mix housework and office work. I follow strict schedule till I finish office work.
